This is the greatest camp chair of all time. We've used basic directors chairs, fancy nemo stargazer chairs, this is the chair that always comes with us no matter what the adventure. It packs small enough to fit inside the hatch of my kayak. It can stay in the car and takes up almost no space, can be pulled out and used any time. It is incredibly comfortable and durable. I am 200ish pounds and I never feel like this chair will break on me. Easy to put together, easy to take apart and put back in the bag. Pair two of these with the BA soul kitchen table and have a lovely picnic, literally anywhere.

At last, a chair that packs down small, is light(ish) and is extremely comfortable. While too heavy for backpacking, this is a great option for kayak/canoe/car camping. I love the designs on these and I love that big agnes donates to causes that matter. I guess get a helinox if you must back pack, but for any other use just get this you won't regret it.

Light weight, easy to set up and comfortable. It takes a team effort to put the seat on the first time, but once we used it the set-up was much quicker the second go round.

Very sturdy and comfortably wide enough for someone with a stocky sport build. It's great to pull out after a long day of hiking and small and light enough to throw on my pack. I like the chair so much, I'm already planning on buying the one with arms for car camping. The only bad thing is it's extremely hard to put the seat on the poles the first time. I would suggest unrolling it and letting it sit in the sun the first time so it's easier to stretch out. It would also be nice if the pad around the top of the chair was a little thicker to rest your head on.

This is a very sturdy chair. I do wish it had come with basic set up instructions for the fabric part. It was only after several tries that I figured out putting the top sleeves on first and then the points at the front of the seat was the only way the chair would go together. I appreciate the channeled connection points so the rods are correctly set, the whole frame pretty much snapped into place easily, though I expect with wear that might change. Overall a great purchase but only four stars because there weren't instructions for assembling the seat.

The Big Six Camp Chair seems much more stable than some of the cheaper competitors while being no heavier. I will carry it on every hike for the ability to relax after a long, or not so long day

Took my chair on a Grand Canyon River trip last September. So comfy after a day on the river. Easy to put together and take apart and packs up small in its stuff sack. Great chair! Thanks Big Agnes!

I love Big Agnes and wanted to love this chair, but it is way too hard to put together and isn't really all that comfortable. The bottom of the seat bites into my legs, the construction is awkward, not refined, and it's not all that small/light.

Got this chair after trying the stool and enjoyed the construction so much, thought I'd invest in the chair. I really chose Big Agnes because of the high seat height. I'm a 6'5" woodsman and sitting in most camp chairs feels childish, I love how upright you can be while still having a back angle that allows you to rest comfortably. I'm wild about this chair, I can't wait to try the chair with the arm rests next. My only concerns are the material comprising the seat is layered with a rubber-like membrane and I'm unsure how that membrane will age with the use of the product. Also, the sleeve that holds the back support is pretty squeaky with that membrane on the inside. I wrapped the aluminum post in KT tape and that keeps it quiet when moving around in the chair.

I finally found "my" chair. After buying all the other hyped up chairs from other outdoor companies I bought the Big Six. Is it the smallest? No. Is it the lightest? No. Is it the cheapest? No. What it is, is a real chair! Pretty light, packs small, well built and comfortable. It's easily a chair that you can backpack, car camp or place at your kitchen table at home with. I love it!!

Awesome comfortable chair for hanging out anywhere. On my back deck, while out car camping, and after getting done with a bike ride. Love how high it sits off the ground as well as how high the back goes up. I'm 6'3" and it fits me perfect, heck i might just take a nap now.
