This sleeping pad was kinda crinkly-noisy for about ten minutes the first time I used it. After that, it was quiet and kept me warm and comfortable for three nights in an alpine meadow that was about 40+ degrees Fahrenheit. Easy to inflate, easy to deflate, packs neatly with its inflation sack. Highly recommend.

First things first. I had a small seam leak in my older Q-Core SLX pad. Big Agnes stands by their products and now I have a new Rapide SL of very similar design. 5-star customer service. I haven't used the Rapide yet, but if it's as good as the SLX, which I expect, I will be very happy. Sleeping out is fun again ever since I started using the SLX. It's pretty quiet, and the raised side rails really do help me stay centered on the pad. The now included pumphouse light is also a nice surprise. Thank you Big Agnes!

HOLY COW! I've owned several UL sleeping pads and finally decided to invest in a "luxuroius" pad because I just couldn't bear those sore mornings from a terrible nights rest anymore. Pros Price - You're getting a lot for the price Thickness - allows me to sleep on my side. Width - allows me to sleep on my belly Side rails to keep you from rolling out Deflates quickly and is easily packed up Cons Heavy/Bulky - Tradeoff of having a comfy pad but is expected The included air bag takes a bit to learn how to use but I was able to inflate it with about 6-8 repititions. Honestly if you're looking for something comfortable for backpacking I'd recommend it. Can't speak on cold weather performance since i tested this in the summer.

I used to have the old version of this from like what, ten years ago? And then it died :( So I contacted BA and they were willing to give me a huge discount on a new pad. Super easy and very responsive team. I opted for a bigger one because let's be honest I got bigger over the last ten years. Tried it out in the Tetons last weekend. Not only was it warm but it was ROOMY. I'm 6' and 200#, so this was way better than the narrower one I used to have. If you can, definitely opt for a wider one, especially if you're a taller man with side-sleeping tendencies. The new inflation bag thing was really straightforward and I love the dual valve. Deflating is super fast and it still packs down. I know you ultralight snobs will sniff at the extra 8oz I took on but it's WORTH IT for the width and length! If you can't handle 8oz more just pack less IPAs. Great pad, looking forward to ten more years of use with this one... I will be a BA customer for life! #sweepstakes

We have used this pad for two nights so far. Great blend of comfort and weight for a two-person sleep system.

I just came back from a 3 night canoe trip and was very happy with my purchase. It is very comfortable for sure. I'm not a fan of the pump sack, but this is my first experience with one. I'll probably get a battery operated pump. My only regret is I wish I'd gotten a wider one, but that's on me. I guess we'll see about durability as time goes on.

Sleept on it for 10 days and I found it to be very comfortable, and it was pretty quiet to sleep on. I am 6' 230lbs and I had no problems with touching the ground, I didn't get cold and I had plenty of space to sleep. I also found it to be a very sturdy build quality.

This is my second one. My first one has been all over the world with my. It is my solution to every bad bed. My first one is still good. I bought a second one just to make sure I will always have one. It is the first thing I pack when traveling. If you have a bad back this thing is a must have.

We brought this pad snow camping with us in Mammoth Lakes last weekend and holy moly, the comfiest sleeping bad I've ever laid on. It was like sleeping on a cloud of comfort! We even tested its durability by hiking up a snowy hill and sliding down, this thing is bomber! New fav sleeping pad.

Most comfortable sleeping pad I've used. And lightweight. There are lighter but not with the same comfort.

Great for sleeping and also floating in the lake. Maybe it was bad luck, but it punctured after our first night. I really appreciate it comes with a repair kit.

Whelp, this is indeed the best ultralight sleeping pad I've ever used, just like people told me it would be. Ground? What ground? We've got ourselves a 5 star hotel bed out here in the wilderness. The one issue I've had is that the 20" is obviously pretty narrow, which makes it tricky for my dog to share my sleeping bag since you're lifted so far off the ground, a good 3-4" (he has his own bag, but we still share sometimes). The 25" would've been a better pick for us, but it was sold out when I was shopping at the start of the season.

So I received this pad as a gift for Christmas. I really love it. It's so comfortable, the material build quality appear solid. Even the color is perfect. It's the nicest pad I've ever had. However, on my most recent trip I found I had to inflate it three times during the night. I was certain I had not punctured it, as I baby it like my first born. Sure enough I cannot find any pin hole with the soapy water method. Which leads me to believe the weld is leaking. Devastating to say the least. I started a claim on the site tonight and I have faith Big Agnes will make it right. Hopefully..

I'm a pretty big guy - 6'7", 240lbs, and backcountry camping has started wearing on me as I've gotten into my late 40s. Hip and back pain, cold ground, pad's too small, etc. I bought a Big Agnes pad years ago, and after a decade of camping it wouldn't hold air any longer. What to replace it with? I tried a ThermaRest, but it was uncomfortable as all getout, almost making me throw in the towel on backcountry camping. I reached out to Big Agnes, and to my surprise they honored a decade-old warranty and gave me a huge credit towards a replacement. I went with the Rapide 78", and couldn't be happier. It's plenty big, and unbelievably comfortable. My first chance to use it was this past month, a trip that included a stop in Denali followed the next week by Volcanoes. Super easy to inflate, deflate, and pack up. Did I mention comfortable? It's reinvigorated my joy of camping, and I can't wait to use it again next month for a week-long backpacking trip in Colorado. I'll stick with Big Agnes until I'm no longer able to get into the backcountry!

Loving the Rapide SL so far! This pad checked off all the boxes for me. Being lightweight, compact, having great insulation, comfort, and the long×wide sizing make this the ideal pad. Worth every penny! #sweepstakes

Super comfy sleeping pad - even for a side sleeper! I use this backpacking and have also brought it mountaineering and used it along with the Big Agnes closed cell pad underneath. Highly recommend!
