I bought this for fire assignment camping, so mainly summertime in tents. It's a great two-system package that allows me to adjust depending on how hot or cold the nights are which can be unpredictable with fire assignments. The material is very soft but not heavy duty. My ring nicked the bag and a small hole formed almost immediately. I patched it but it was a little annoying. Overall, I loved the sleeping bag and it's temperature flexibility!

Slept in the Roxy Ann, both sections over a long weekend that dipped down to -2 degrees Celsius one night. I was very warm and cozy inside the 2-layer bag (with an insulated air mattress) with just sleep pants and a long sleeved shirt. The pillow barn is great, no more lost pillows in the night! My only complaint would be the zipper on the interior bag. It's difficult to pull down, takes a bit of finesse, and gets caught too easily on the fabric. Very pleased with my purchase!

While everyone else is uncomfortable I am always warm and cozy in this set up. I can also lend the second bag to a friend too, or my dog as needed and it shrinks down lovely to put in my pack. It doesn't stink either and I slept in it every day this past summer? and for a month in Portugal. I am. BA user for life both because of this bag and their excellent women's jacket.

I had a sleeping bag I was very pleased with. But after a week at Scout camp this summer, I really wanted something that could get me through the summer, fall, winter & spring. I live in Mississippi and majority of my backpacking will be done in more moderate climates (plus I sleep hot). I received this sleeping bag and couldn't wait to try it out. I inflated my Big Agnes sleeping pad, attached the sleeping bag, inserted my pillow and laid down. It was so comfortable and everything stayed in place! The outer bag is nice & roomy and seems like it will be perfect for warmer nights. I look forward to using it as soon as the weather cools off enough, then I'll update the review. I anticipate more of these 3N1 sleep systems will be purchased for the rest of the family in the near future.

Love the idea, I've spent years trying to find the right sleep system for my backcountry adventures and I loved the potential versatility of this bag, but it just didn't work. Pros: Warmth and versatility for varying temperatures. I used on a 5-day trip, camping varying elevations and temps, so the ability to change the set-up was nice. Very soft and cozy bag. Love the pocket for the pillow too. Cons: Agreed with previous comments, zippers snag on everything. But my main issue was the size. Both the length and the packed down size. First, it's essentially two sleeping bags, making its packed size just too large for backpacking. Second, I bought the regular sized bag, as I'm 5'4 on a good day. But with the inner bag hood pulled up over my head and lying straight, my feet were pushing against the bottom of the bag. It was much too uncomfortable to sleep like that. Used it with the Q-Core SLX Wide (25" x 72") and it was super tight around the mattress, even though specs say it works for up to 30" width mattress. Again, overall love the concept, it just needs a few mods to make it work as it should. Disappointed I won't be taking this on any further backpacking trips and need to go back to the drawing board for my sleep system.

I LOVE this system BUT.... the zippers, especially on the inner bag are absolutely a deal breaker! You cannot use the zipper without it catching the fabric even when you are being careful. It's SUCH A BUMMER because I love everything else about this set up. I do not recommend buy it until this problem is resolved. It'll make you kookoo.
