All-metal design and higher sear height!
Love our Big Agnes chairs! They have served us well through 5 years of Boy Scouts - ranging from car camping and fishing to extended backpacking treks. Durable all-metal design and sitting 4-6 inches higher is worth carrying the extra ounces!

I love this chair
I got this chair for back country adventures. It is lightweight yet very sturdy construction, easy to assemble and I love how high it sits above the ground. It makes it very comfortable.

Great chair
Excellent multi-purpose chair for camping, kids sports events, tailgating, and breaks at work. Took a minute to figure out how the poles fit together but then it's so easy and quick. Carry bag is a big plus as well.

super comfy, super stable
I've been eye balling these chairs for some time now, and finally bought a couple for a family trip up to Sequoia National Forest. Right away they were a hit. The chairs are very comfortable and sturdy. I've tried a few different brands of these type of ultra light weight chairs and all the other brands feel wobbly, like you are going to fall over. Not these ones though, these feel grounded and stable.
Putting the chairs together is simple and straight forward. Put them back in the bag is even easier.
As an all day chair these are great however at the end of the day when you are ready to rest your head on something these chairs lake a headrest. I would say that is part of the sacrifice of having an ultra light chair that packs up super small. I am super glad we finally have a set of these chairs.
The one piece of advice I might give, if you bigger person (250lbs +) consider the XL version. The seats on the regular could feel a little tight.

Highly recommend.
This chair is very light weight and packs down small so it's great for hiking or day trips. It's more comfortable to sit on than the Helinox. I'm 5'11" about 195 lbs. and it doesn't pinch at all. Plus, it doesn't have bulky hubs where the joints connect so it packs easier than similar chairs by other brands.

New favorite chair!

I was in Jax browsing camp chairs as I was considering getting a new one, since a secondary one I had ripped. I happened to sit in this chair and it was pretty comfortable, since then I wanted one! I choose this over the traditional camp chairs I'd been use to for the fact it folds up pretty small. It was used on a recent camp trip and it is so simple to assemble, I can sit back and sit up comfortably. I love it doesn't take up lots of room and is lightweight. Great chair investment!

Killer chair
The most perfect camp chair. It's easy more comfy than some other camp chairs I've sat in, and the packed size and weight is great for me, as we mostly car camp. It seems heavy duty, from the frame down to the seat material.

It's the perfect chair for the outdoors
I'm a big guy. My wife is an average sized lady. This is the first chair we've both found comfortable to sit in. It doesn't fold my shoulders into my chest! The height isn't too tall for her, yet doesn't fold up my knees! It's crazy strong, but weighs very little and folds up into a very small package. We keep three in our truck for car camping and touring (the extra is for the occasional friend), and two at home for events around town.

Pretty good
Seems sturdy but maybe a bit wobbly on uneven ground. Definitely like the no hub construction! One of the better built lighter weight chairs.

Best camp chair I've ever sat in
I'm a big dude at 6'2" and 230lbs. My wife is 5'4" and weights about 100lbs less than I do. These chairs are comfortable for us both. She can sink into them and lounge. They don't fold my shoulders in. They're strong as fsck and have been with us all over CO, NM, UT, and AZ. They pack small and light. We now own five so that we have extras for adventuring with friends, and a spare. This is the chair you want.

Seriously promising
I'm new to Big Agnes, got my feet wet here after reading reviews, finding a deal. Of course I didn't read the instructions, it was fun to figure out setup. Immediately developed respect! I haven't put it to the test out in the field motocamping, but so far I'm impressed, it's light, comfortable, bereft of flimsy plastic parts, and coolest pattern (two different fish, and my version raises awareness and support for a river. To find companies that care and are proactive matter to me. I wait with bated breath for my tent to arrive!!). If it falls apart whilst adventuring, I'll update the review, but I doubt that's happening. Thanks Aggie, MWAH

Strong structure and great support.
I bring this chair on Sea kayak trips. its longer, skinnier packed form makes it easier for me to pack vs other compact chairs. no concerns of the strength of the chair and I like the grooved legs to ensure it is placed together well and poles feel a bit more solid.

Best chair in its class!
This is a fantastic chair! I've tried all the small, lightweight, packable chairs from the different companies that are out there and this one is definitely the best!
It is super durable, super comfortable and super sturdy.
With other chairs it always feels like you trade the small packsize and weight for a rather flimsy chair. Not with this one. It's small and lightweight, yet comfortable and durable to sit on.
I highly recommend it!

Best camp chair money can buy
There are many things to love about this chair, the durability of its construction or the perfect back rest angle. But my favorite part of this chair is that is sits much higher off the ground than most other camp chairs which makes it much easier to get in an out of.

Mica Basin Camp Chair
I purchased this camp chair for Moto-camping. I haven't been able to do so as of yet, but I have used it for some ball games and it has been most comfortable! I have no regrets buying this chair and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality, cozy, and simple camp chair!
