This is a great bag - a game changer for couples looking to sleep more comfortable instead of two separate mummy bags. I love BA products owning tents, pads, etc. However, I am very disappointed in how much down leaks through the bag. We've owned several down products, coats, booties, bags, vests from EMS, Feathered Friends, Enlightened Equipment, etc. Nothing leaks down like this bag. I thought the reviews overstated this or were from people who were overly picky. I was wrong - every time we pull it out there is quite a bit of down poking through. I dare not even use a compression stuff sack because I'm afraid that it will accelerate the down coming through the material. I like BA quality but this issue doesn't live up to their usual high standards. Other than that, the temp rating seems right for sleeping bags. It's been quite warm for two people on a quality insulated pad - we're using the BA Rapide Tent Floor. I wouldn't buy again but I'm willing to put up with the leakage because I like the other aspects of the bag.

xtreme versatility, also needs improments all is well, fit nicely with the double Exped sleeping mat. The lining, the draw string that hugs the sleeping mat, pillow secure compartment, large foot room, no exaggerating but many more convenient features as if they read my mind. I'm small and thin so have no issue with sizing, in fact it would be greater if his majesty Solomon were smaller for a snuggly fit! Scope for improvements: down leaks now and then, almost every time I have a close look at it, a feather says hi. I'm afraid I'm gonna end up sleep in an empty bag in the near future at this speed. A double blanket is bulky, but at 650fp it surely can be improved by having higher fill power, I'm ok having my salary on the price tag in order to have a better weight to warm ratio (make it 900fp). That being said, this is a one of a kind resourceful double blanket that I long for improvements.

Definitely not a 35 bag at least with a little body. I use this to backpack with my 7 year old. I will say at 50 it was super comfy and it's fun to spread out alone in it. The pillow holders worked great. The double wide pad and sleeping bag are a great choice when bringing along a little human. Into the backcountry.

used this with a klymit insulated double v and two x pillows for two people. Was a little surprised that there is literally 0 insulation on the bottom side of this bag. That said it was really comfortable and we didn't get cold. We designed with the zippers/options. One thing though is that there were a lot of feathers poking through the top and getting on stuff.

I have used this bag with my partner for several years now and it has been amazing. We have enjoyed sharing our body heat in a bag together that packs down relatively small for a double due to its design. With the sleeping pad that goes if it's into the the sleeping bag, there is no sliding off the sleeping pad in the middle of the night. It fills the 2 person tent floor perfectly, keeping my tent save from my dogs claws, (and has sustained no damage itself in the process). I have thoroughly loved this sleeping bag. Highly recommend it for couples. One person can Cary the bag, while the other packs in the pad. Easy peasy!

The 35 might keep you alive to that temp, but sleeping at 40 degrees in our four season porch as a test run even with our liners and long underwear was freezing. We had to bail. I don't think that sleeping at elevation while backpacking would be possible as it gets below freezing done nights. Sadly we will be returning this lovely bag due to it bleeding heat during the night.

Down fill Big Agnes System bags with Flex Pad Sleeve built for two
Like your own bed in the backcountry! Big Agnes King Solomon 35 Degree is part of Big Agnes Doublewide Series, eliminating the need to zip two bags together so there's nothing keeping you apart from your cuddle bug at camp. Constructed with soft, recycled materials and insulted with 650 Downtek water-repellent down that repels water while maintaining insulating properties and loft for a cozy, warm top layer.
The new Pad Cinch System makes connecting two pads or securing a doublewide pad easier and faster than ever. Now with a full zip off option, you can use the top quilted layer like a comforter or zip together to create a single bag when camping solo. The King Solomon 35 Degree double sleeping bag is more versatile for the most comfortable sleep experience for two.
King Solomon Creek was named after the richest of the Old Testament kings by early settler and optimistic prospector Robert McIntosh, who owned and operated a small mine there in 1876. The falls, difficult to get to and not found on a map, are both popular destinations for able-bodied locals in the know, and a great place to cool off if you are both adventurous and a little bit crazy. The trail is un-maintained, slippery and dangerous at high water.
