We use the Diamond Park while motorcycle overlanding and camping. After a long day on the road, it's so nice to climb into the Diamond Park and snuggle in the warm and comfortable quilted top. It so comfortable and the qualify of the construction, stitching, and attention to detail is excellent. Thank you Big Agnes for making such a quality sleeping bag!

Very roomy and you can sleep on your back or side and be comfortable. Stays on the mattress, best sleep I've ever had camping.

I love my diamond park sleeping bag. The design is genius. I love having zippers on both sides. I love being able to use it as a quilt or to zip it all up and be toasty warm inside. The materials are soft on your skin. I wish that Big Agnes would use more down and make the sleeping bag lighter weight while still keeping all its amazing features for those who don't like mummy bags. I will be taking this bag backpacking because I get a great night's sleep when I use it and it is my favorite piece of gear! I love it!??

I recently used this on a car camping trip placed in the bed of my truck paired with a Hinman pad. It was incredibly comfortable. Being 6 foot 5 its hard to find comfortable camping gear. The temps got down to 38*f, and I had no want for more warmth. The bag is roomy enough that i could roll inside it without it going all directions, the wide pad matched it well and I never came off of it.

Being 6'4" and a stomach sleeper that likes to kick a leg out I can't sleep in a mummy bag or any bag that really restricts movement. This bag provides plenty of room without being absolutely massive and filled with cold spots. I bought this bag for 3 season car camping in Colorado where I expect to see low temps from 30* to 60*. The first night I had a low of 55* and in shorts and a t shirt the bag was plenty warm. Early in the night I was a bit hot and unzipping the sides and foot box really helped vent the bag. Another night I took the bag down to a low of 34* right next to a shady creek. This was about the limit for the bag as even wearing merino baselayers and on a pad with an R value of 6 I was a bit cold and had to lay my puffy on top and tuck the bag in as much as possible. I was not shivering but I was uncomfortable. That seems about right for this bag, even with a 30* temp rating you are going to sacrifice some warmth for all that extra space plus the listed temp rating is always the lower limit. I love the hood and drawstring closure on this bag. When cinched down the hood acts like a blindfold for those sunny summer mornings. Two things I do not like. 1) The drawstrings for the hood and shoulders are way too long and you end up laying on the hard plastic ends of them. 2) The cell phone pocket is sewn into the bag in a vertical orientation so your phone falls into the bag and you end up laying on top of it. All in all I like this bag. It's not a furnace and I don't expect it to be. It's a comfortable bag that works great for car camping and maybe backpacking if you take it just in quilt mode. It's the perfect blend of comfort and size.

I used an Anvil Horn 15 the past couple years, but like all my prior bags, it didn't allow me to poke my arms sideways and rotate both left and right to fully recreate my preferred home sleeping position. By selling that bag to a friend and getting the Diamond Park, I can now always put my arms and legs just as I want them, even with the bag fully zipped up. This has provided me the best camping-sleep I have ever had. I picked the 30 rather than 15 to try and keep the weight down a bit. I have a Q core Deluxe for pad. I just did a week long backpack with lows ranging from 30 - 40. At 40, I did not need any extra clothes. I correctly figured the bag would need some extra help to be warm at 30. I took along the lightest Sea Summit Liner; it plus a light set of thermals to sleep in were a warm combo for the coldest night. For any future trips with expected lows upper 30s or better, I'll leave the liner at home. Although I'd like to be able to use a lighter sleep system for backpacking, a great night's sleep is priceless, whether the currency is dollars or weight. This is the long-term keeper for me.
