This makes inflating your super comfy Big Agnes sleeping pad a breeze. I guide expeditions on Denali and love being able to inflate my pad at altitude with passing out. it doubles as a great waterproof stuff sack. I like to put my book, toiletries and pillow in it when I am moving and that way it keeps my tent stuff together and is available to inflate my pad when I am moving into a new camp. Bottom line: If you are going to altitude you should bring this thing and save your brain from a lack of oxygen as a result from inflating your pad by mouth. I am a full time, year-round mountain guide and a member of the Big Agnes team I received this gear to test and use.

Car camping on cross-country environmental advocacy trips can really cut costs but adds a lot of time setting up camp and tearing it down each day. Everything you can do to cut down on time and effort means a lot. The Pumphouse Platinum may seem like an unnecessary investment when the Air Cores come with their own air pump, but this thing really does help save time and energy!

The materials and construction are good. The problem is that the sack is just too small. It takes me 3 times as long to blow up my air mattress using this as it does to blow up another comparable air mattress from a competitor, which included their sack for free.

Awesome addition to your camp gear from car camping to back packing. This is a breath saver when blowing up your Big Agnes pad and it also doubles as a stuff sack. I love my pumphouse, makes blowing up mine and the rest of my families pads a breeze.

This is a huge help while inflating our air mattresses while backpacking. We use it as a gear bag to organize our packs during the day and a pump in the evening. Love it!

Works as advertised! I got it for my Big Agnes Q core Slx. I must say you guys make great stuff. Question! Could you guys come up with an adapter to use in the hole so I can use my pump as a shower as well? That would be awesome.

I primarily use this to inflate my sleeping pad, but it could easily be used as an on-the-go washin' machine for clothes (add a little bit of soap and shake it up!), a water hauler, or stuff sack (like the product description states). It packs up to a miniscule size if you're not using it as a stuff sack while traveling. I stash mine in my 20L dry bag with my tent, sleeping bag, pillow, and pad.

What a great concept! No more headrest from blowing up you pad. This thing is quicker and works great! Love that it doubles as a stuff sack! Brilliant! Love that it also works as a shower bag! Brilliant! The only think I would point out that could make this thing even better is if there was some sort of actual shower attachment to manage the water flow when used in that capacity. Something to think about. Otherwise this thing rocks!

Easy to use and moves a lot of air quickly. Would be nice if it actually came with the sleeping pad instead of as an add on item since you can't inflate the pad without it.

Absolutely brilliant idea - I love gear that is multi function and this product is a small piece of pure genius. Works perfectly and I can fill my Q-Core pad in a couple minutes without the headrush that goes along with filling by lung power. Although it is a tight fit, I can also use it as a drybag compression sack for my Anvil Horn sleeping bag. If the pumphouse was just an inch or two taller, it would fit perfectly. only had one season of use but so far its been Excellent !

Look, I'm getting older, I'm in the thick of menopause, I'm a mom, and a Cub Scout leader. I rarely camp without children around. Inflating my pad and my kids' pads was making me dizzy and did not leave me with enough breath to yell at children to stop doing that thing. This seemingly insignificant device has changed everything for me, inflating pads is a breeze now (that I don't have to blow). It only takes 7-8 refills to have my pad fully inflated. Better yet, it also doubles as a waterproof stuff sack for my bag, so it's not like I'm carrying extra weight at all. Should have gotten it as soon as I purchased my pad!

What a great concept. Instead of lugging around a heavy air mattress pump and the noise that goes with it, just get this and enjoy the happy compartmentalization of being able to store your pillows and pad in this dry bag, and air them up in the same breath. It sure beats the alternative of flopping over on your half-inflated raft and adding a few stars of your own to the night sky. On regular sized pads, it seems like a good enough concept to make a smaller version to use as the stuff sack for all BA pads. It's nice to see that these are coming with some of the higher and pads now.

I loved my Pumphouse Platinum. Worked great for 2, two week section hikes on the AT. Checked it before heading out on the AT again for our third year and it has a seam leak. When you tired after a long day of hiking it's nice to not have to blow up your air mattress the old way, huffing and puffing.

The last thing you want to do when you get to camp after a long hike is use what's left of your energy blowing up your sleep mat. This makes inflating your sleep mat a breeze. It weighs next to nothing and doubles as a dry bag for storing your gear. Bottom line: just do it.
