Alpride E2 Supercapacitor System for Avalanche Protection
The Float E2 Avalanche Airbag integrates the Alpride E2 supercapacitor system, enabling deployment of a 162-liter avalanche airbag designed to reduce burial depth and help protect the head and neck during slides. The supercapacitor system stores energy magnetically, allowing rapid activation without chemical degradation. Its TSA-approved design enables air travel with the airbag fully assembled, eliminating cartridge-related travel issues. Designed for snowmobilers, backcountry skiers, and snowboarders, the E2 system enhances safety in avalanche terrain.

Weatherproof Build with Fast Access to Rescue Tools
Constructed with waterproof-coated nylon, this avalanche airbag keeps gear dry in wet conditions. A dedicated shovel and probe compartment allows fast access during emergencies, while the Side Stash pocket provides on-the-go access to essentials without removing the airbag. A Back Stash zip adds more convenience for accessing radios or gloves while moving. The airbag is BC Link radio compatible, hydration system ready, and includes ice axe loops, helmet carry, snowshoe mounts, and moisture drain holes for technical backcountry functionality.

Secure Fit and Customizable Carry System
Comfort and load control are enhanced with a molded cooling fin back panel, removable internal divider, and internal support frame. Dual-zippered shoulder straps, modular/removable hip and shoulder straps, and load lifters help distribute weight evenly. The hip belt pocket stores small essentials, and the hip belt tool loop provides a secure spot for snow tools or radios. The Float E2 airbags also support diagonal ski carry, vertical snowboard carry, and snowshoe attachment, adapting to any mission.

AA Batteries for Additional Deployments
In addition to the supercapacitor storage, you can install two AA batteries to allow for additional deployments in the field. The batteries also help keep the supercapacitors at full charge when not in use.
• AA alkaline batteries allow for one additional deployment and are capable of keeping the system charged for up to three months of normal use.
• AA lithium batteries allow for three additional deployments and are capable of keeping the system charged for up to five months of normal use.
