Bought two, one for my wife and myself. At first, we weren't too sure about them because even when fully inflated, they had wrinkles in the top fabric. We found out that that really didn't matter at all. In the water they were much faster than the sit-on plastic kayaks we had been renting and tracked really well. It took us 15 minutes to inflate it the first time. By the third time we used it we could get it unpacked, inflated, and in the water in under 5 minutes. Like one other person mentioned, there is not a lot of foot room for taller individuals. I am 5'11" and have to put one foot over the other as the inflatable tubes come together in a V shape at the front where my feet are. That can be a little uncomfortable after a few hours. If Advanced Elements could possibly make a more square area for the feet that would be great. I had trouble putting it back into the bag the first time, then I figured out that you have to actually reverse the pump and get all of the air out before folding it up. By myself, I pump it empty, fold it over, then take the back and turn it half way inside out. I place the folder kayak in it, rotate it so it is standing on edge and pull the sides up. Like inflating, once you figure this out, deflating and packing up can be done in less than 5 minutes. There is plenty of room in the bag. I place the kayak, the collapsible paddle, a life preserver, and the pump in the bag. Granted...that is pretty full then, but it all fits. Overall, we are VERY happy with these kayaks and use them 2-3 times a week in Florida amongst mangroves, along canals, and just offshore. We felt so comfortable with them that we went for a midnight, full-moon paddle.

My daughter and I bought one each in June 2020. We go everywhere with it--rivers, lakes, and the Puget Sound. Very stable. I'd like to get the drop-stitch floor, which would provide greater rigidity but expensive. At 5'11, I've maxed out legroom in this model. Once inflated there is hardly any room for my feet and legs. It's a real trick to unfurl once I get back to shore. Not much storage room. I purchased a 12x12 cargo net to fasten a dry bag on the stern of the kayak. We get comments from onlookers just about every time we use it when we start to inflate. So far it seems to be holding up to beaching it on rocky shores. Getting it back in the bag can be a pain. Works best with two people?one to hold the kayak the other to hold the bag. A slightly longer bag would have been appreciated. But I do love that I can throw it in the back of my Honda Fit and store it on a shelf in the garage when finished.

I love this kayak--it feels very sturdy for an inflatable, it tracks pretty well, and it's easy to port and inflate. It feels very stable in the water. I'm 5'6"--if you're any taller, you will want to go with the longer one. On my last trip, I saw a man with his two kids in the two-seater, and they looked completely safe and comfortable. Definitely get the recommended inflator, and take the time to adjust the seat with the straps so that it's comfortable. This is my fourth kayak and first inflatable, and I couldn't be happier with it. Good for lakes, creeks, and medium-calm waters.

A bit heavier than expected, nonetheless love the kayak. Comfortable, cuts through the water beautifully.

My wife and I purchased two and have already taken them on Puget Sound seal watching. The comfort and stability of this kayak is impressive. Yes you cannot track as fast as a plastic or fiberglass kayak, but unless you’re racing, is speed all that important?
