I work at a garden center as the main waterer so I am constantly getting my feet wet all day. I bought these boots to protect my feet from getting wet and because they look/feel great. I bought them back in November and it is now april. The shoes have since look worn out and are no longer waterproof. This saddens me because they feel great and look great. I will still be wearing these outside of work but I have to find a new pair to protect myself from water.

I am on my fifth pair of these Timberland boots which are by far the most comfortable hiking boots I have been able to find for my feet (note: I have flat feet). I hike the Grand Canyon every year and get up to Colorado to get 2 or 3 14er's in every year in addition to regular local hikes, and I have never gotten a blister. They provide excellent support and great traction in a variety of conditions. My only complaint is that the tread seems to wear pretty fast and I have had the sole separate on one of my boots (fixed with some epoxy), and I usually only get about 18 months out of a pair.

This boot has always been awesome. Very comfortable for walking or hiking. Thanks so much Timberland.

Fit perfectly, as did my last pair of Timberlands. I'm using them daily in New England snow now, and later for hiking, camping and bad weather. They're just large enough if I need two pair of socks, but not too large with one pair. Warm enough with just one pair of socks in snowbelt winter now. Tie them properly, and you'll walk comfortably for miles in four seasons. There's only one error in the online ad. The mesh claims to be ""green"" color, but is actually a true bronze -- which looks better to my eye. +1

I've used these as a work boot for several years. And they never disappoint. Feet stay dry and always fits the same.

Above it asks if it was a gift. It was a gift for my feet. Rugged and comfortable at the same time! I have been wearing them for years.

I've been looking for a pair of hiking boots that I can buy over and over again and get the same results, and I feel like I get that with these boots. I just wish that I could get a bit more mileage out of them.

I use them om almost a daily basis out on the property in some water and mud and just for good support. I have had mine over half way up in water with out problems and these are Timber Dry. I also treat my boots with mink oil periodically. This is the second pair I have had in about the last 8 years or so and I'm about to buy another pair for backup. I wear mine about all the time because they give me great back support on and off the property.

I use this shoe for hunting, hiking, foul-weather, and just every day wear. Most versatile and comfortable footwear I own.

On my second winter with these boots. Crazy comfortable. Very good traction in wet conditions, satisfactory traction in up to 3"" of snow and boots always keep my feet dry and comfortable. Very stable and comfortable in lite hiking conditions. I have been extremely happy with these boots.

I have a pair of these that I bought over 2 years ago and still wear every day. They are comfortable and great for yard work. The pair I purchased 2 years ago was a 10.5 M so I ordered the same size thinking they would fit perfectly. Nope. The size I needed in the new pair was 11 wide. My recommendation for returning shoes is to not use the Timberland shipping label. It took nearly a month for Timberland to receive the return. USPS transfers the package to FedEx. FedEx delivers it to USPS in Chino, California which is only 13 miles away from its destination in Ontario. The transfer from USPS to FedEx back to USPS makes tracking difficult. When I finally was able to track the package I saw that it sat in Chino for weeks before finally being delivered. So just use FedEx or UPS and send it the cheapest way possible. It will still get there sooner than using the Timberland shipping label.

Took them for a 9 mile hike within a week of getting them. I expected that would mean sore feet and blisters but they were comfortable all day. Very stable for climbing and descending mountain trails. Highly recommend.

This is my second pair of the same boots. Obviously I like them or wouldn't have repurchased. The first pair simply wore out after tons of use during the past two years. First pair was bought in a retail store, but due to COVID-19 I prefer to shop now on line. My wife looked at the tag inside the boot and searched for the right boots on the Timberland sight. I am thrilled that they are exactly like the first pair, both pairs made in Vietnam.

This is the 4th pair of Timberland Chochora boots I've bought in 10+ years. I was ready to replace this past summer and actually bought a pair of $150 Oboz because my friend loved his. All I can say it 2-miles on the trail and the blister on the heel started. I made excuses, tried to make them work and finally threw in the towel after 3-months of sore feet. Timberland makes a great hiking boot and I charted my first 10-miles this past weekend with no issues. When you know you've found a great shoe that works over, stay the course. I will keep buying Timberland.

This is my third pair of the exact same shoe. Each of the first two pair lasted a long time.

This is my 4th pair. I spend a lot of time walking in the woods. I tend to wear out the sole and the boots eventually lose their waterproofing. These boots do take some time to break in.

great boots
By JOHN G.
I put 150 miles on these boots with a 35 pound pack,(and I am a 260 pound man.) Then I hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim with only one very small blister on the way out. I loved them so much I bought another pair and have been using them for work and I spend the day on my feet. Just bought another pair because the price is good. I am looking forward to getting them on my feet.
Best Boots I Ever Owned

The Timberline Chicororua boots are sturdy, comfortable and waterproof. I had owned a pair of the slightly less expense Timberland White Ledge boots for over 4 years which have identical bottom and I loved them. For my replacement boots I decided to move up to the next model in the line, the Chicorua, because of the slightly taller support around the ankle and the Gore-Tex membrane which makes them more breathable. My first test was a 4 mile mountain hike over rocky terrain and they felt grea...
