I have a very bad back and I have two of these coupled together for my desk chair. This product gives me great support and eases my pain of seating for a long period of time. Being disabled, your products give comfort and support.

I get severe lumbar pain in leg when driving for 8+ hours. Use two cushions plus pillow plus adaptive cruise control (able to take my feet off pedals) to control sciatic pain from poor seat design which is difficult to determine before buying a SUV. Also stop every 2 hours and walk. Also use cushion in kayak when paddling for 2+ hours and sitting in one position.

Good ! This cushion is the thicknes I wanted but still wish Thermarest made the square camp seat i was attempting to replace. The two separate cushions are better than nothing but I wish I had one without the cutout so I can use it as my car seat. Is there anyone else that make the 1" thick square camp seat Thermarest made back in the 2000s?

I have a very bad back with chronic pain so I need something that supports my hips without putting pressure on my hips.. The discontinued larger square cushion was the best. I have put two of these Travel Cushions together and this gives my hours of relief. With my condition, your products are the best of all that are out there. Use the travel cushion on my brand new Rav4 as the driver seat is uncomfortable on long trips. Apparently, the design has changed since the last one I purchased as it has somewhat different shape. Adjust inflation to what is most comfortable!

Love this cushion! No more lower spine discomfort when traveling for an extended period of time on plane or car. Have given it as presents to family and friends with the same need of sitting without discomfort or pain.

I have a lower back pain that got worse sitting on hard surfaces. I tried other cushions but this one helped me the most. I use it in my car, on plane flights, on the swivel rocker that I sit on to watch TV. My pain is gone now but I still use it. I also like the amount of air in it can be so easily adjusted.

I'm still using an inflatable pillow (this brand) that I purchased 20 years ago for traveling. Bought two of the new design for Christmas gifts. Great because the self-inflating pillows can be adjusted easily to meet the needs of each user. Highly recommend product. Reasonable price and quick ship.

My Therma-A-Rest Travel Cushions arrived (after first being back-ordered). I am very pleased. They do a good job of automatically inflating and also allow for additional inlation by manually blowing into the valve. I was impressed at how easy it was to deflate them by opening the valve and forcing the air out by either sitting on them or rolling them up. The deflate to a relatively compact size. I bought two because I intend to use to them to cushion the Jeep seats during an upcoming Safari in Africa. They will also be used to make sitting in a plane seat for 16 hr more comfortable. With limited luggage space their compactness will be be appreciated.

This product is well made and works well to support the lower back. I find that this particular backrest is excellent because you can adjust the amount of air inside to the right level of support. It inflates all by itself using a neat valve. I would purchase this product again.

I bought two Thermal-A-Rest Travel Cushions in preparation for an upcoming European trip with long flights. I bought well in advance so that I could "break them in" and understand how they work and if they would be worth the space to bring them on the long trip. (I will be deflating, rolling up, and securing with Velcro strapping for space saving. Since buying them I am very pleased with the cushions. I use one for sitting at home on hard chairs, on the piano bench, or out on the patio. The second cushion I occasionally hook with the first for lower back support. The self-inflating feature is fantastic. The valve closures are simple to use. Releasing the air to adjust cushion for comfort is easy. Having used them around home over the past several weeks I am happy to take them along for use on a longer trip. Previous reviews from others have been helpful regarding altitude adjust, heat avoidance, etc. which make sense.

I used the Thermarest Travel Cushion on my recent trip from Hawaii to LA and back. One of the the things I hated most about flying is the seat becomes very uncomfortable after an hour or so into the flight. I'd have to shift my seated position often. While I cannot say the cushion was 100% effective, it sure did make the flights much more bearable.

I use this seat in my touring kayak as a little extra padding either under me, or behind me, and it stands up every time! Small enough to fit in my pack while portaging, which I love!
