I had this sleeping bag on Denali expedition and everybody was jealous about it. It kept me warm even in -35C and when it got wet it dried fast. The only thing that concerns me is that feather on the back where I sleep starts to disappear, it probably moves, what can I do about it?

I managed to pick up last year's model for $599 and compared to paying $879 for a Feathered Friends, this is GREAT value. I used it end of February, two nights winter camping in the interior of BC, got down to -18C (no heater at night) I also used a Revelation Apex synthetic quilt from Enlightened Equipment over the bag (these are AWESOME) rated at -1C for a little added warmth and to keep condensation off the bag . I wore merino wool socks, Smartwool 250 long underwear, smartwool 250 long sleeve top and t-shirt and slim beanie, and i was very warm. I believe the temp could be -25C and i still would be fine. With some down pants and slim down jacket, I could go a lot lower. Of course the pad system you sleep on has a big impact on your warmth and I was on a cot and a Sea to Summit Comfort Plus XT pad (really great pad) so that helped a lot. I'm 5'10", 177lbs and there was just enough room in the bag and I'm a side-sleeper and I turn over a few times at night and i didn't have any problem. The center zipper does snag so you have to be careful. The snorkel hood is a great option. Takes some adjusting but great to breath through even on your side. No down leaks at all. Really great purchase.

"Imagine sitting in a small cabin in front of a raging fireplace. A hot cup of coffee is in your hand. You look out the window at the blowing snow quickly accumulating in the surrounding forest. A large soft bear suddenly ambles into the room and gathers you into a warm, smothering hug. Suddenly you wake up and realize it was just a dream. You peak out of your Polar Ranger -20 at the snow outside your tent. Again you smile, realizing your dream isn't that far from reality." I've slept in this several times including down to -2 without a chill. Thoughtfully designed, well-featured without becoming cluttered or complicated, this bag is one that will take me to places I wasn't able to go before. Although it's a thick bag, it's not heavy and compacts to a surprisingly managable size.

Designed with the help of polar explorer Eric Larsen, the Polar Ranger -20F/-30C down sleeping bag is the lightest, most feature-rich bag in its extreme weather class.
The lightest, most feature-rich down sleeping bag for high-performance in the extreme cold.
Designed in conjunction with renowned polar explorer Eric Larsen, the Polar Ranger -20F/-30C down sleeping bag is built for the coldest places on earth. Previously a recipient of Backpacker Magazine's Editor's Choice Award, the lightest and most feature-rich bag in its class just got better. It utilizes cutting edge box-baffled construction and is filled with highly compressible, PFC-free 800-fill Nikwax Hydrophobic Down. This advanced down maintains its loft and warmth longer, even in the challenging conditions of extended expedition use in the arctic cold. It absorbs 90% less water and dries 3x faster than untreated down-a big plus on long trips where periodic drying is required. The ultralight shell and soft liner are made from planet-friendly GRS-certified 100% recycled nylon. A unique snorkel hood with a magnetic closure helps seal in warmth while routing exhaled moisture away from the bag to preserve loft.
Drafts are kept at bay by extensive, overstuffed draft tubes and a pair of side vents allow for custom ventilation while freeing your arms while still in the bag. Other features include an insulated Toe-asis foot-warming pocket, SynergyLink Connectors to link bag and sleeping pad, an interior stash pocket, external loops for attaching a quilt or blanket for more warmth, and an anti-snag YKK zipper.
