These are the best hike boots I've ever worn. As an outdoor footwear professional, I've had the opportunity to try lots of boots and I absolutely adore these. They are light, the cushion feels as though you're wearing a sneaker, but they are stiff enough to be worn comfortably - without blisters - for days at a time while carrying a pack. I've now recommended them for multiple friends - who all love them! I hope Salomon brings them back and in more sizes. I want to buy a second pair!

These boots are very comfortable. I walk miles everyday and know for sure they are completely waterproof, I only wish I could get another pair, my size is not in stock right now. Big time recommended!

Just bought these boots this weekend to go hiking. A friend recommended. They did not disappoint! We were on some very rugged and wet trails. The grip was great on slippery rocks. The support for my ankles was just what I needed. I broke my ankle 2 years ago and this boot gave me great support. Our trail was quite wet and muddy in spots and my feet stayed dry. I?m looking forward to our next hiking adventure in these boots!!

I absolutely love these boots have had them for 2 years and from the very start they have been comfortable, waterproof, and give confidence and stability underfoot. They have taken me to Everest and Sikkim and some of the most challenging places for an off the shelf hiking boot. I use them constantly for moor and rugged challenging coastal hikes, they have barely worn. The uppers are in great condition still after being exposed ito mud water, sea water, snow and ice and sharp rocky conditions and I love the sole as it gives confidence over slippery rocky outcrops. All in all a great boot and a great price too. I will be purchasing another pair this year ready for when my current pair eventually need replacing. These were my 1st Soloman boot purchase and definitely wont be my last. I just love them!

I?ve had these a couple years they do keep you feet warm and dry but unfortunately they are super heavy and not super flexible to move in and that ended up backfiring on me hiking ended up break my ankle quite bad search and rescue murdered my boot. But they were good for snow shoeing just not rocky hikes.

First time proper walking in very wet weather. Completely waterproof, comfortable and warm. Good grip. Slight hitch with hooks being tight and so unlacing shoes difficult when it came to taking off.

I have been wearing Salomon hiking boots for 3 years for search & rescue work in Florida. This is the first brand that I have been able to wear comfortably for 12+ hours right out of the box. The Authentic LTG GTX Boot for Women was amazing. Unfortunately I wasnt able to find it when I shopped this time so after checking some review s and looking at the style I purchased these. Something with the arch support is just not as good or different enough that they are just painful to wear. This is really disappointing.

These are my second pair of Quest Prime GTX. The first pair held up longer than any other hiking boot I?ve owned. As an avid hiker, I log approximately 40-60 miles per month, so I need a highly supportive and protective boot. These boots often seem to run a little larger than others, in both width and length, but not enough to alter the size you order. Perfect for thick socks in the colder months, and more give in the hotter months to account for perspiration and swelling.

I purchased these for a month long camping trip to see national parks in the west in October. These were not my favorite boot initially, however the helpful shoe salesman at REI strongly suggested these for my med/high arch, narrow feet, and large toe box. I was not so sure since I had never preferred a high top, however I knew it would be cold and there would be snow, so i went along with it. Well, these shoes were incredibly comfortable! I practically lived in these for a month and loved every minute of it. I hiked through mud, desert, rocks, steep paths, whatever and felt stable, secure, and supported the entire time. I loved them so much that when we came back from the trip I continued to wear them all winter, spring, much of the summer, and well its been 3 years now and I am still wearing them very often. I highly recommend this shoe!!! If you are on the fence, go for it, you won't regret it!!!

3 stars because they are the most comfortable boots I have worn in a long time. The good; - Wide fitting for my bunions (I would equate it to an 'E'fit - Easy to find a lacing style to suit my high instep (I'm prone to tendonitis if laces need to be tightened.) The lock system works well for this. The bad; - They are NOT waterproof. First walk in wet grass = wet feet The ugly: - The wrong colour boots were sent as they had been boxed incorrectly. I ordered the blue and thats what the box indicated but inside were brown boots! As the blue were out of stock I kept the brown ones anyway, due to how comfortable I found them. Would I buy Salomon boots again? Yes, they fit my awkward feet better than any others but they would have to measure up better than these to be worth the money.

Bought these shoes for my hiking adventures. Durable, comfortable, and a great price for the quality! Just the right height on the ankle for support and protection. Sole grips right to rocks so I can climb in confidence.

Just got´em just in December because of my line of work. I trael in country a lot and spend 90% up a mountain with mud and clay terrains. I took them out today for the 1st time and they did not dissapoint. I felt my foot was super secure and i was confident in every step i took in the clay terrain. I am very happy with my current pair. Mine are the black and orange.

I bought this boot for the many day hikes and overnight backpacking trips I do and wanted a solid, lightweight boot that would keep my feet happy and dry. I was very impressed with the lack of "wearing in" these boots needed, they have been comfortable from day 1. These boots have preformed on rough trails, scree slopes and wet slippery beach boulders. They clean off easily and the blue colour surprisingly doesn't look too bad when dirty. Sometimes my feet come out a little damp, but I am unsure if that is from moisture running down my leg, or coming in through the boot. I would definitely recommend this boot.

This was my first Salomon purchase back in February. The day after I bought them I went on a 20 mile hiking challenge. This is a wonderful lightweight boot that has since carried me up and down multiple mountains, in some pretty awful conditions. Can?t recommend enough.
