I love the ruggedness of the Overland Utility Bin. My first trip with it was actually on an airplane as luggage. Held up amassing when checking equipment. Now I ordered a second one for my atv. Thanks.

I got my SJK overland utility bin a few months back and so far has been handling the harsh weather conditions in Dubai quite well. Constantly loading it up with firewood and trash and been solid and reliable. What?s even more appreciated than the product is the customer service and support these guys have provided me with. Firstly, my purchase and shipping were nice, smooth and swift. Secondly, I broke a piece of a buckle and asked if they can provide me with a replacement which I would happily pay for. They asked for some details which I provided then haven?t heard back from them in a couple of days. Now I just answered the door all the way here in Dubai to find that they?ve shipped 2 buckles, not just one and didn?t even charge me for it! Honestly, you guys are awesome and I hope you continue making and developing your cool products

I am loving this utility bin for off-road and overland adventures in my Jeep. It's surprisingly roomy, sturdy, easy to clean, and convenient. I've used it to carry gear and equipment into campsites, and carry out my trash. Fits perfectly on my rear tire (fits good on 33s) and easily adjustable. Gotten a few compliments on it, too!! Eager to see how it performs in different climates.

I ran this bag to death valley for a few days. I bought this bag because my rig is a 2008 Ford Ranger and since I don't have a spare tire I needit to sit on the tailgate. It's about perfect size for the tailgate and that's why i bought tis one instead of cheaper options online. A little loose fitting but it's enough slack to open and close.mt shell window. Glad I bought this one I stead of cheaper options. Spend the extra money.

Recently used on a nine day camping, overlanding road trip trough all conceivable weather. The bin withstood it all. Used the bin for hauling gear, as a trash can that hold 13 gal garbage bags with ease. Great piece of gear for any setup.

I'm really impressed with how well the Overland Utility Bin works. We loaded it up with firewood for a recent outing and it held strong for the 5hr drive to camp that saw everything from 80mph interstate to rough BLM roads. Once at camp, we offloaded the firewood and inserted a trash bag for camp waste. My only recommendation for the SJK team would be to create an XL version of this as you will be surprised how quickly the 50L of volume fills up. A recommendation I have for users is to use binder clips at the top corners to secure the trash bag in place so that it stays open.

I would say the construction and materials used seem to be very high quality, one thing I would prefer is if the buckles that secure it to the tire were reversed.

I recently used the Overland Utility Bin for an 870 mile off-road route across the entire state of Utah. It worked flawlessly. Then a week later, it went up Imogen Pass and Ophir Pass in Colorado. So far, it?s held up great, was able to haul a weeks worth of trash in it both trips.

Thus far its been positive. I like that it has a more structure than a Trasharoo and doesn?t seem like it will sag. Overall we?re really happy with it.

I just got this bag and have been using it on my Jeep JK with the doors and roof off to keep items from blowing out (hoodies, blanket etc.) I look forward to using it for camping and hunting this year as well. I agree with some of the other reviews on install and straps being a bit difficult. Living in the PNW I'm concerned about the straps stretching when wet. Things to consider for future design updates would be to consider a strap configuration that would allow you to use as pack to haul items by foot if necessary. Yes I would recommend and by again.

Great product and must have on camping trips so that you don't have to carry your trash in your vehicle (especially for me with 2 young kids in diapers!). Tough and well made. Looking forward to using it as a cooler during day trips. It also dries out fast when it gets wet. I'm very happy with this.

I love the bag, seems extremely well made. But I do have to echo a lot of the feedback on the site, if the straps were reversed, it would be a hell of a lot easier to strap to the tire. It still works of course, but it could be less of a hassle.

I can tell you that just out of the box this is much better than my Trasharoo. The material feels a lot nicer. The straps and buckles feel stronger. The inside is vinyl so whatever is inside won?t get soaked even in the rain. It has some sort of stuff material in between the fabric that allows the bag to hold it?s shape. like that it has a zipper as well. I have no doubt this will last me at least a few years.

The bin is great quality and I am using it on a 33" spare tire. The installation can take some time depending on your setup so you might need an extra pair of small hands. I would have preferred the buckles to be opposite orientation to make mounting the bin easier. Still recommended.

The bin is of good quality, but the way the straps are mounted on the bag make its attachment difficult for my intended use. I think it would be a great purchase if you are going to use it as intended on the back of your truck on the spare tire. I was trying to make it work on the ladder on the rear on my truck but the attachment points did not make it work.

Heavy duty bag perfect for holding firewood on the way to camp and trash on the way out! Much nicer than a trasharoo!

It's not flimsy and holds its well-designed structured shape. I have this mounted on 37" tires. I only wish it was slightly bigger.

I’ve had the Utility bag a few weeks now. I’ve discovered that after the first good rain the bag will loosen and you’ll need to retighten the straps. The quality of the bag is amazing. Very strong material and stitching. Bag is not 100% waterproof, but does have a drain hole at the bottom. Keep wood in a trash bag and you are golden. One of the best bags I’ve bought.

The construction of the pack itself is outstanding but the straps need improvement. They stretch when wet. If your tire carrier is not a swing out type it’s extremely difficult to adjust the length and fit, not enough room between the tire and tailgate. Length of the straps puts the adjustment in a tough to reach location.

I haven’t got to use this yet, but I can already tell it’s quality will hold up.

It was a updated more elaborate version of the same concept i preferred this one over my trasharoo.

I've had this mounted to my FJ for the season and really like the bag itself. But my complaint is the mounting straps. I really wish the long portion of the strap was mounted to the top of the bag. Allowing the strap to use gravity when mounting rather than having to contort my arm and fish the strap up from the bottom. Making it a two person job to mount. Also, when the straps get wet from rain or washing the vehicle, they stretch out 4-6 inches! Then the bag hangs off the spare tire loosely. Some minor improvements would make this a top performer.

This works just as described. I have used this soft bin to carry last minuite things we forgot to pack into the truck as we were leaving. Then on the way home we use it for trash and smelly diapers. Zipper and clip closures are handy. I strap it to my tailgate and the clips work great for this too. The fabric is stiff so it retains its shape for now which is good. I think it will soften over time

We are very happy with the construction of this utility bin. We placed it on the back of our off-road trailer and it has done a fantastic job holding everything from muddy boots, firewood, and trash down the rough roads. Looking forward to many years of use!

Rugged and well thought out.

No complaints. Well built piece of gear. Hopefully the team who builds these sees this 1 recommendation: It would be phenomenal if you could add a 5th strap to hold the bag over a tire on the very top center of the bag. With the straps at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock it sags after driving down bumpy roads. Adding a strap at 12 o’clock would prevent this. Very pleased with the product, solely a recommendation.
