Sweet

Plenty of room for one. Easy to assemble when your tired or in a hurry. I do wish I had purchased the one with a bottom in it. (Mud and bugs)

1 man tent

Actually, the best 1 man shelter I have ever used. Camo is perfect. Just right for light weight trecking.

Great tent!

I love the tent so far. It's versatility will come in handy this September for archery Elk. The ability to use the tarp only for a shelter is a nice feature. The only drawback I've found is the tent stakes. One bent pretty easily on me the first time I staked it out. I think I'll upgrade to the MSR groundhogs. Other than that it's a great tent. Can't wait to use it!

Not worth it.

I'm not sure what's really going on with this tent. It's as if they took a dome tent and cut it in half...the outcome is exactly what you would expect. You get one full length pole and then a curved half-length second pole. It's sort of a lean-to type deal. I don't understand why they went with this design. It doesn't free stand with the poles in it, it requires the stakes for the tent to free stand. I find that to be annoying in that I constantly had to adjust it for the tent to be fully extended to allow for maximum interior space. Due to the design, the interior walls start to angle upwards drastically from the floor. I found that the top of my head and the tops of my feet were pushing into the screen walls. That being said, the tent isn't completely useless. I was able to camp multiple nights in it with the only issues being the ones reported above. The materials were all of good quality, the zippers all worked great and I personally loved the camo look. In conclusion, I'll probably keep it as a backup tent. It deff wont be my go to tent.

Nightfall for FTX

Purchased for a Joint Readiness Training Center rotation. Worked great during the entire exercise, stood up to heavy rain and constant packing/re-packing. Tent stakes bent pretty easily but besides that minor annoyance it was an excellent purchase.

Best bang for your buck!

I highly recommend that anyone looking for a 1 person tent considers this product before spending extra money on something else! I carried this tent through three different hunting units last year, while experiencing every weather challenge that could be presented (excluding a heavy snow load) and will be keeping this tent in my backcountry kit for years to come! Great design and kept me dry and comfortable. So impressed with the design that I just bought one for my brother as a birthday present. My family has spent most of our lives in the backcountry (my first trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon was age 7) and I have rarely ran into a piece of gear that I am as happy about as this one! I also have a video review on YouTube of this tent. Just search Slumberjack Nightfall1 review.

First elk hunt

This tent was wonderful during my 4 day/night hunt. It snowed for an entire day and all my stuff inside stayed perfectly dry. The footprint is so light, I wouldn't go without it.

Highly recommend

I used this tent for 7 straight days in the high back country of Colorado. Weather varied greatly, the liner kept me dry and with it pitching as one piece it works great for setting up in inclement weather. Also, the way the connects the condensation on the inside of the tent walls from your breath has no impact on your sleeping bag, which if you know is a major win! For cost to weight to ease of use, it's the best on the market. In my opinion.

Nightfall 1 review

Overall experience has been great. I bought this for an upcoming Elk Hunt & will be sleeping in spike camp for a minimum of 15 nights in this tent. I’ve set this tent up 3 times & slept in it each time & it’s pretty simple to pitch it. The tent floor could be thicker but I understand wanting a lighter weight & the optional foot print is available for purchase. I highly recommend purchasing the foot print.

Solid 1 Person

Once set up, this tent is very solid and we'll constructed. I like the amount of room, it's enough for extra gear while keeping it lightweight. Quality is nice and plenty of thought went into making it last more than one season like some others.

Initial set up

Only completed a backyard set-up. Seems easy to set up. There was a section of the fly, at the back, where the vent is located that I could not get as taunt as the rest of the fly.

Nightfall tent

I have only set it up in my living room. Looks nice, though. It is my second Slumberjack tent. I also have the In Season 2

Homerun!

Love this little tent. First impressions are solid. Easy to pitch, and with a footprint, very versatile! Might swap guy outs with lighter cord. Do watch the video on Youtube first, and the pitching directions online first. Well done!

Nightfall 1 person tent

Haven’t used yet. Plan on using this fall during my first Colorado elk hunt in September. Set it up in the backyard and it will work great for overnight camp, and will easily pack.
