Sturdy & Lightweight. My clothes cycle from casual dress to eventually becoming work clothes when they wear out. So these are great for both. My first 2 yr old pair are still looking good after constant wear. So very nice. More color variety would be welcome.

Perfect surf to sand short, light and breathable, quick drying, and swampa$$ eliminating. As a heads up, I'm 6'1", 210, and normally wear a 34-36 (depending upon brand) but in these likes a 38 for extra room (and even though loose in the waste, they tie, and have non-slip waste band built in, so no issues with sagging).

Great shorts. Good fit and love the pockets, especially the security of the zippers and button. I wish the inner zippered pocket on the left side was larger to hold my cell phone and I wish there were more colors, specifically navy and grey.

Love the shorts! I mainly rock climb in them and love how they stretch. I never feel restricted. Only criticism I have is that they're slightly more baggy than I'd like, which makes them climbing-only shorts for me (I don't wear them around town unless I'm coming straight from the gym).

I love the material used for this model of short; Nylon has a great, premium feel and these shorts have so much stretch and comfort. Rip Curl also uses a liqui-band tape on the inseam to minimize abrasion and chaffing while in the water. It seems like a lot of other brands are starting to go into this direction but fail to match Rip Curl?s design palate, fit, and durability. The overall design provides simplicity, comfort, and function for a long time ????

I like swimsuits with pockets. These are like regular shorts made with quick dry swimsuit material. I also like the drawstring on the inside to make more snug if needed.
