I used the bags on a multi day float from Eugene Oregon to Corvallis Oregon on the Willamette River. The bags function as well as they look! Sleeping bags for four people and clothes for myself arrived dry and ready for use at the campsites. I could not ask for better performance.

Very durable, well designed and serves well as a very large dry bag. Weight, while not a lot, should not be much of a factor if you need something this large as you will probably have a lot of weight stored in the bag to begin with. I'm pleased and recommend this bag if you need a large dry bag. Easy to use and plenty of "tie down" loops to facilitate safe storage in a craft.

Bought this bag on recommendation from a friend who is an experienced paddler and former river guide for a three day paddle on the Big South Fork of the Cumberland River. Couldn't be happier with it. Went for the extra capacity (110L) over the 60L size because the price for almost double the capacity was +$20. Seemed like a no-brainer given the fact that you just roll the top down. The extra capacity has come in handy for camping trips because it fits large or bulky items (like a djembe or a banjo) that I have never had a safe and dry way to carry outdoors in the past. Backpack straps are sturdy and comfortable. My only "even better" would be that I wish it had a couple more web loops for attaching loose gear with a carabiner but I appreciate that that would create more places for a leak to develop. I can appreciate the functionality of simplicity.

Just luv it on any & all overnight rafting trips, even 3 weeks in the Grand Canyon. Makes hauling my bag with the shoulder straps so easy from raft up hill to a camp site.

Great large capacity bag. Mine held a tent, hammock, compact chair and all my other gear for a trip down the Grand. The newer hooks for straps work well.

My wife and I shared this bag for a five day river trip on the Salmon and Snake rivers. It held all our clothes, sleeping bags and pads, tent, and our dogs food and gear as well...with room to spare. Everything stayed dry the whole trip. The shoulder straps make for easy hauling of the bag once at camp. I could see using this bag for hike in surf trips as well.

The NRS Bill's Bag is a true dry bag that can accommodate more than enough gear/clothing to make any rive trip comfortable. The material is solid and has been able to withstand years of abuse from the sun, water, ground, etc. The hip and chest straps help keep the bag close to the body making it easy to carry. I really like the metal strap closure system update (less plastic = less things to break) and with such a burly material I don't worry about any contents getting wet. This bag is a classic and one that I plan to use for many years to come on and off the water.

The NRS Bills Bag was perfect for our family rafting trip. We had two bags for our family of four on a 4-day trip. It had tons of room, durable, waterproof and easy to carry. I can't wait to use it on our next family adventure.

I've used this bag for travelling and on roadtrips. You can put all the gear you need and it will stay dry as you want. The material is top quality and will make it through the years. It's easy to carry and you can easily remove the shoulders sling.
