Mystery Ranch Forager Hip Pack

I purchased the Forager Hip Pack when I realized that I needed a small carry-all for when I go out and about, as opposed to a purse. It holds a surprising amount! I can easily carry a wallet, my phone, lip balm, etc. and still have plenty of room for more. I like that the Forager can be carried in many different ways, which gives me peace of mind when I need my items close. I have recommended the Forager to friends and family.

I have been searching for a hip pack that checks all the boxes and I finally found it! Amazing colors, check Roomy without looking bulky, check Dedicated space for sunglasses, check Comfortable, check I?m going to buy a couple more!

My wife made me buy this thing because she was tired of me stuffing everything in her purse. Now I have somewhere to keep my stuff when we are out, and I have a happy wife. Great quality product and it?s the perfect size. Happy wife happy life.

Been using this almost daily for carrying my every day items. Big fan of the size and the compartments. The outer one is a great fit for my phone and super accessible. The strap is pretty comfortable for cross body wear compared to some other pouches I?ve gotten from Mystery Ranch.

We spent two weeks in Europe and we each had a Forager that we used all day, every day. My wife has even decided to use it for her everyday bag here at home. Great product and comfortable around the waist or shoulder. Provides easy access and security to have your valuables/personal items close to the body. The main compartment holds plenty (i.e., wallet, reading glasses, sunglasses, sun block, power bank, cables, etc. and the rear, inside zippered section was great for our passport, room key, and ticket/baggage stubs. The rear hidden stretch pocket was perfect for our iPhone 12s.

Super comfortable and great value for what you get. This bag is made of great quality that is immediately clear once you hold one in your hands. Will definately be looking at Mystery Ranch if I need any other bags/gear!

I am a mom of three young kiddos. This is the perfect size for me to take to the park (I know I know, not the typical hardcore mystery ranch customer. I can fit a water bottle and some snacks, along with a to-go diaper. Great to have multiple options for pockets/closures and my phone is always close for pictures or a work email. I love this solution and love the pedestrian options at mystery ranch.

I was initially quite please with this compact fanny pack. Until I noticed that the outside pouch on the body side could REALLY use a much better closure system. One rather cheap snap closure doesn't get it for me. It doesn't secure the pouch very well; and could easily be replaced with 2 or 3 military grade snaps or even velcro. While this pouch can in fact fit a small revolver or semi auto (My Colt Defender dose fit inside. By making the pack just a little larger it could hold a hand gun as well as other small etc items; and still remain compact. As is it is ok.

To start, here are some things I REALLY like about this pack...size is next to perfect. Can hold a point and shoot camera, wallet/passport, wallet, glasses with room to spare with eqasy and still holds a trim profile when wearing. Back padded snap pocket fits glasses or a regular-sized phone for quick access. For me, the interior mesh zip pocket holds a small field book, pen, extra cash and stuff I don't need often. The pivots on the belt work exactly as designed and make sling carry much more comfortable and as a bonus, there are a great place for a carbiner attached to a smaller water bottle for hands-free carry. I like that I can easily add a cord lock on the belt buckle to prevent possible theft on a train or bus. WISH LIST: Consider adding a small zip pocket to the exterior front and consider moving the buckle closer to one side of the bag body...reversible for ambidextrous carry; even better. Great job Mystery Ranch...this one's a keeper! Best, Scott ...currently in Ecuador with his Forager.
