I bought these to replace an old pair of Hunters that had split. These are amazingly comfortable, and warm. They are a joy to wear, and so much more comfortable than my old wellies (which up until now I had thought were quite good!). So far I've only worn them for dog walking, so cannot comment on general garden use but I think they will be fine. Good grips on the sole, and good in muddy conditions. I'm very pleased with them.

Light weight, non-insulated boot for all around use. I use it for work and play. rugged enough t use walking on oyster beds, light enough to do short hikes in. runs a tad large, which is good for heavy socks in the winter months. also scent proof for white tail hunting.

These are one of the best boots I have worn. I grew up in wellies and I know how good these feel as a warm comfortable boot I can wear all day in comfort.

I use the boots for dog walking. I go to a muddy field for ball play. This includes some pavement walking to the field. They are comfortable and warm over all terrains . The sole is quite unique with some good features. It is slightly rounded. Like an atv tyre. this displaces the mud to get to firmer ground. The tread is not too deep. The effect of this and the rounded shape is the boots carry very little mud with them. The slight downside is they can be a little unstable, and like all wellies offer very little ankle support. But this is to be expected. The upper is neoprene and is warm and comfortable. And can also be folded down. Your feet can get quite warm on a long walk. Looks wise the toe is a bit lumpy where layers have been overlapped. But the tops are such a good fit around the leg, which helps keep rain out, trousers can be worn over the top. So not too noticeable and could be mistaken for leather. Acceptable to go the the pub for dinner, and a muddy walk home. I seem to wear boots out usually the glued together construction fails or the rubber is over flexed. Had these a Month now and seem to be holding up well

I bought a pair of Muck Chore Boots about 15 years ago and a pair of Muck Wetland Boots about 10 years ago. Both are still in use but with a lot of Shoe Goop on them. The Edgewater ll's are lighter than the Chores or Wetlands but not as warm or supportive. They are a better choice for 3 season wear whereas the Chores and Wetlands will see you through winter mostly - I wear them until -10C here in Northern Ontario Canada

These boots are only very distantly related to the Duke of Wellington. hey are comfortable, flexible, like walking shoes to walk in - I look forward to dog walks knowing that my feet will be up for walking at least as far as the dogs.
