As advertised but narrow in the calf
Warm and great traction. A little too narrow for my liking in the calf, I like to be able to slide the boot on and not worry about pant legs bulking up.

Stood up well for three winters
I?ve not yet worn these exact pair but, I?ve worn the same model for three winters. They have held up great considering I walk my dogs 8 km 6 days a week during those winters. But, Ive worn holes in the parts of the boot uppers just above the foot where they flex a lot. I patched with epoxy and it kept the snow out. But, time for a new pair.

Comfortable fit, it is less
Comfortable fit, it is less clunky than my other winter boots and it has a good grip on ice. I wear them a lot so I like the being able to just slide them on.

New Vibram Soles - FTW!
The grip on these new soles are FAR superior to the the non-Vibram model. They're honestly the best snow/ice soles out there. Regarding fit - I have high arches and these do feel slightly tighter getting on than the Pro model. I usually wear 10.5 - and might switch out for the 11. Size 10 does fit - but a little snug, both on my the instep and the width...in comparison to the Pro model which fits more relaxed in a size 10. Over time, I would imagine the loosen up.

Best winter boots I've ever owned, hands down!
I work outside in the New England winters sometimes walking through snow for hours on end and these boots keep me warm and dry. There was no breaking in period, they were good to go as soon as I put them on and are very comfortable!

JUST IN TIME FOR THE BIG SNOW STORMS.
These boots arrived within a couple days after ordering and just before the big snows started to hit here in the Chicago area towards the end of January. For many years I?ve been using my gardening Muckboots Which have virtually no tread or traction for snow or ice. They?ve worked well enough but I decided to get a more robust and weather appropriate pair of boots. Wonderfully Comfortable, and I have kept my feet warm with a single layer of wool socks for up to two hours in single-digit subzero weather. My only beef with these boots is the way the top of the boot curves inward To hug the upper calf. Anybody wearing these boots frequently may experience a little soreness but over time it will go away.

The boots were absolutely great, until about 4 months in. The inside of the where your foot pivots when walking wore out in no time. I hate paying this kind it money for a boot that wears down to the plastic so fast that you can?t wear them longer than 4 months without having to trash them. Only negative thing I can say about them. Otherwise a very comfortable boot.

Just be aware of the boots rubbing
I enjoy these boots and specifically purchased because of the Vibram tread. I knew this going into the purchase however, I didn?t have any practical experience with the rubbing on my lower legs from the top of the boot. I would encourage anyone purchasing this boot to also have a thick pair of socks higher then the top of the boot to help mitigate the rubbing. I?m happy enough to just finish purchasing another pair for my spouse...with socks too.
