Everything was perfect and it came at an affordable price. We took our tent to BWCA and we stayed dry through some serious rain storms. It was easy to put up and easy to take down. My children were able to set it up in under 10 minutes when needed. Great company and great product.

I really like the tent; I've only used it once so far - a week of camping in Voyageurs National Park. Having switched from a classic high ceiling dome tent, the reduced height has been a bit of a adjustment challenge. I love the small vestibule entry areas. It's easy to set up for the most part, but it gets a bit tedious when you have to attach the Velcro strips on the inside of the rain fly around the poles. Also, the instructions for setting up the tent are 8-10 wordless drawings which left me figuring some of the set-up on my own. Wish the instructions would have been clearer about how the larger hooks/clips attach near/at the top of the tent and how they interact with the red poles. Searched for a good set-up video on YouTube and found none.

Set it up in the back yard with sons just so its not the first time when we are in the woods. It was pretty easy and seems to be a quality tent. Hopefully it will last through years of backpacking/camping with my boys.

I used the Tungsten 4-Person Tent on a 03-07 OCT BWCA trip, and it performed extremely well for three male adventurers and all our gear. The tent provided plenty of space, and it kept us dry and comfortable, even in colder conditions. Setup was quick and easy, and the durability of the materials was clear. The tent handled the wind and elements without any issues. Highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable and spacious tent for outdoor adventures!

Very high quality product. On our first night out it rained the entire night. Woke up to the tent completely dry. Very pleased with this product.

My scout troop decided on Marmot's in 2015, and we've been very satisfied. We mostly have Tungsten 3's (comfortable for 2), and recently we've diversified to 4's (for 3 scouts) as well as 2's (for 1 scout). Solid all around.

Just received our Marmot Tungsten 4. Instructions suggest staking the corners in high winds for extra stability, Marmot provides the ropes to do this, but not the 4 stakes needed. Marmot also provided only two rope tensioners, instead of the 4 that were supposed to be included. I called customer service and asked that Marmot send the two missing tensioners and was told that they do not have the means to do so, but that I could return the entire tent at Marmot's expense and be sent a new one. (requiring a lot of effort on my part.....) Pretty cheap and poor response from a company with a supposedly good reputation

It was a gift for my son. He took it camping at Big Bend, where it withstood the rain and wind, and kept him dry!

This tent was exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Although not the tallest tent if definitely has enough room for my family of 4 including two children. I love that it also includes a footprint! This tent is just light enough that you could separate out the pieces and use it as a backpacking tent if a couple people carry.

Two adults, two kids, two weeks in Yellowstone NP = success. We bought this tent for our trip knowing it was sized too tight to fit anything more than pads, bags and bodies. We coated it with permethrin which proved to help the bugs. It divvied rain well. IT CAME WITH A FOOTPRINT! The stakes were sturdy enough to be stomped into hard ground. The colors were attractive. The vents were nice. The door would be nicer if it folded down, not up. Easy assembly. Vestibules kept shoes dry. Plenty of pockets and overhead storage. Both adults are above average height and the dimension was slightly tight.

experienced a heavy rain night in AT during the first time usage. since the rain is expected, used two footprints, one from marmot, another from rei 10$ all purpose trap. rainfly, guy lines, all setup. the tent almost dry everywhere inside. lower part of the wall is little bit moisture. the weight is slight heavier. if i have chance to try the UL version, that would be very interesting. inner size is good for 3 persons, but this is expected. over all, a good tent.

Two tears ago I purchased a Marmot Tungsten 4P tent as my adult children were wanting to recreate their growing up backpacking experiences with their children, my grandchildren. Last year my daughter took both of her children so she used the 4P and I purchased a 3P for my wife and myself. In the meantime, our sons both purchased 4P's for their families. When we set up camp at various wilderness sites we were a great promo for Marmot. The tents served us well even during the cool Lake Superior nights.

Use for motor bike camping. I needed a little more room to move around so purchased this tent and I was not disappointed. Putting up the tent was easy on my own and I gained all the room I needed. Good quality and for the price, I am very happy I chose this.
