These were the perfect replacement for a lightweight pair of REI pants I owned that are no longer made, nice lightweight yet durable Schoeller-type fabric. All pockets have zip closure so you don't collect a bunch of debris pushing through spruce. They are plenty warm with a light base layer under them for active use such as snowshoeing and winter hiking. Probably going to buy another pair, the Sunnysports price can't be beat

My husband loved these pants. He wanted something light and waterproof for snowshoeing. The fit is good. He is tall and they are a tad shorter than I prefer but perfect for the purpose we bought them for.

I used this for 5-day winter mountaineering and never felt cold with a thermal inside. This pant is snow resistant as well.

This has become my standard pant for backcountry skiing - not too heavy, fits over boot cuffs nicely, water resistant, very breathable. I also used it for traveling for 4 months in South America, looks nice and is durable.

These are excellent med/light weight pants. I use them in the snow and windy days. They seem true to size and with plenty of room for movement and undergarments. The side zips are nice to allow for going over boots.

Bought this as a hiking pants and it does the job really well. Took it for a spring hike and it felt comfortable at 55-60F range. Very breathable and light enough not to notice the pants at all. Love the fit. It does not feel baggy and have enough room and stretch so I don't feel any restriction when lifting my legs high.
