Ultralight and reliable!

I just used this with my Mountain Hardwear Thruway 50 on a Border Route Trail hike. It is indeed waterproof and ultralight; it was easy to use, worked wonderfully, and it fit my pack perfectly. I love the integrated pouch; it is convenient and packs the cover away nicely. I attached it to a compression strap with a little carabiner, so it was right there when I needed it. Highly recommended for your backpacking packs; I do not understand why Mountain Hardwear has stopped making these!! One more thing, the size chart is accurate; I've read several reviews of this cover stating it is too large; however, based on the language of those reviews, they were trying to use this cover with bookbag-type-backpacks, which is NOT what this cover is for; of course it was too large!! Bookbag backpacks are very small compared to backpacking packs. Know the liter capacity of your pack when you order, and it will fit perfectly.

HUGE

I bought this for bicycle commuting and covering a Mountain Hardware Agama day pack. The small cover was large enough to fit a 60 liter pack and looks absolutely ridiculous hanging off of a 25 liter bag. This would work for a large pack, but you will not be happy buying it for a small one. Even if it is cinched down, the top is made to accommodate a bag with a large upper compartment, so it is loose and floppy on a day pack. I also thought the "wasabi" was ugly. Save yourself the return shipping and restocking fees.

does what it says it does.

Fits great over my Memo Mounatain Hardware backpack. Its fairly large pack but great for those too many books. The rain cover proetects me when I have to bike with all my goods in the bag. Easy to use and easy to stash in the pack for emergencies.

Actually works!

I didnt think this would actaully stay on the bag but it did! So far so good but I have only used it once to bike and walk on campus while it rained all day. It kept my stuff dry!
