Very spacious, as expected with a 6-person tent. Easy setup, could almost set it up solo but a second pair of hands makes setup a 2-minute breeze. Highly recommend a tarp or footprint, flooring had a hole after the first camping trip. Not the greatest ventilation so light condensation accumulates on the inside of rainfly and inside of tent can stay warm but not extreme, haven't had any issues with leaks or condensation dripping and opening the rainfly quickly cools off the tent.

The Kelty 6 Wireless is a good size tent. I appreciate the vestibule, size, and standing room. I had no issues with set up, zippers, or leaks. Unfortunately, I only set it up three times before the shock cords broke. I have a Kelty dome tent that I've had for 20 years and I've had absolutely no problems with. I had been hoping the Wireless 6 would be of the same quality. Kelty did offer to replace the shock cords if I would send the poles to them. I decided I will try to replace the shock cords myself instead of paying the shipping to send the poles back.

This is a roomy 5 person tent with ample space for storgae and relatively large vestibules. We camped in Northern California and Western Nevada using primitive or no campsites at all. The conditions were moderately difficult with strong winds, rain and up to -15 celsius. The tent survived this trip with no damage despite the very heavy fiberglass poles and seemingly very thin shock cords. The inner walls were moiste and completly frozen in the morning but no rain penetrate the tend and the 3 poles nicely holds even the moderately strong wind gusts. It is rather easy to build or pack the tent. The two problems are the height that require to stand within the tend in order to attach the upper part to the poles and the tight fit between the metal ferrules and the hooks that is nerve breaking to attach in fear of breaking the hooks. Overall this is a nice three seasons family tent that is suitable for a car camping in developed campgrounds.

Needed a bigger tent and this met that need. My first tent where I could stand up, I am over 6 foot tall. We had 5 people fit in nicely, not sure there really is a 6 person tent that can actually hold 6 people that aren't touching each other. Took it to Alaska for two weeks and it rained pretty much every day. Not any hard rain with wind, but it stayed dry. Like another reviewer, I had a cord break. I set it up twice for practice before my trip with no issues and the first night in Alaska, the pole for the rain fly fell apart when I removed it from the bag. The pole stayed together when we put it back and attached to the fly and tent. This was my first tent with fiberglass poles and I got to say that I don't care for them that much. Overall, I think it will serve my car camping needs.

I haven't camped in this tent yet but am sure it will be great. I had to post a comment about how the say the split coded clips help with setup. Even in the pics in this add you can see that they have a blue clip connected to a yellow clip. Apparently even the manufacturer is confused:)

This tent is amazing. The last two trips I went on, it was pouring rain and there wasn?t a drop of water in the tent. It?s just the two of us and our dog but it?s exactly what we were looking for - roomy enough for two cots, a dog crate, and an oversized camping chair. Best tent I?ve purchased!

I was very excited to get this tent! I have had a smaller Kelty dome tent for about 16 years. It has been great! It has held up well and never leaked. However, I decided I wanted something with more room that I can stand up in. The Kelty Wireless 6 looked perfect! Plus, I have had such a great experience with my current Kelty tent that I hoped the quality would be the same. The positives are that I can set it up within about 15 minutes by myself and the size is perfect! I absolutely love having more head room. Also, it survived some big rain storms without any leaks. I did have one issue with the tent. I only set it up 3 times and the shock cords broke in 2 joints and are shredded in several others. This was disappointing as I have never had this issue before. I contacted Kelty and I am able to send the poles in for repair. However, shipping is expensive so I may try to replace the shock cords myself.

Love the tent. High quality and once you set it up worth it. I love that it has vestibules on the front and back. Once the rain starts you zip them up and you can be dry inside.

We spent our first week in the tent, including hot days, cool days and a torrential downpour day. We were comfy the entire time, with no water or condensation in the tent. We did purchase the corresponding footprint. The vents in the fly were lifesavers when we were fully buttoned up in the storm. Vestibules kept our shoes dry during rain. They were easy to zip and unzip. The tent doors are really easy to zip and unzip with one hand. Fit comfortably a mid-height queen air mattress, our duffel bags & backpacks. We're 6'1" and 6'6" and didn't feel cramped. Super easy setup and teardown. Middle pole clip might be interesting for shorter folks, practice before you go camp. This is a great tent if you're not worried about pack weight, and want a tall center with a full fly and quick setup.

I got this Kelty Wireless 6P tent to give my wife and I more room in a 3 season tent. The two doors make it very easy to enter and step out and the full coverage vestibules help the tent do very well in windy situations. I love being able to fully stand up inside the tent instead of having to bend over once inside like our older tent provided with its limited height. This Wireless 6P is our favorite go to car camping tent.

I only have 12 nights (all in same site) in my new W6, but so far, it has been all that I expected...except the rain fly does not have tie-off loops on the 2 non-door panels of the fly. These panels rest against the tent walls and seem like they are potential leak sites in heavy rain. I went ahead and sewed some webbing at the middle point on the bottom of the non-door panels in order to pull the fly away from the tent walls; again, only on the 2 non-door panels. Other than that, and in many regards, this tent is a step up from my old Kelty Outback 6, which has over 150 nights spread out over 2 years w/ no damage, no tears, nor broken zippers; it's now my back-up. The W6 is superior in that it has 2 doors, higher tent walls (where the ripstop meets the mosquito netting) and the 2 darker colors of the rain fly do a better job of keeping sunlight out (than Outback 6). The new aluminum poles seem to be beefier than the old fiberglass of Outback6...but time will tell. This is a 5 star tent; but it definitely should have tie points on the non-door panels of the rain fly. IMO, Kelty seems to be the standard in affordable, durable tents. Thanks

The rain fly does not cover all the way down the sides of the tent. Seems like a poor design in my opinion.

I have been snowed on, had moderate rain with moderately high winds, and it is a joy to know that the Wireless tent will hold up. The tent is cozy and is pretty tall. The setup is super easy. My wife was not a tent camper however on the second time after helping me put it up, I have full confidence that she can put this tent and rain fly up by herself. An extra hand is always helpful but it seriously is very easy and quick to setup. We have the wireless 6 for 2 adults, 1 little human, and 1 dog and we have plenty of room. It can sleep 6 for sure however, I would say it would sleep 4 or 5 comfortably. This is a tent that I will have for a very long time.

Bought this for car camping with my family of four. I’m 6’2” and can stand up in the center, which is great. Had a slight issue with the floor but hopefully the warranty department comes through.

Tent is really easy to setup and the interior height provides some welcome space when getting dressed in the morning.

Great tent for car camping. Plenty of space, easy setup, and no leaks during a couple of rainy nights. I also like the two doors. So far...no complaints.

We are so happy with our purchase of this tent. After the easy setup, we found the space inside to be more than enough for 2 adults, a kid, two dogs and our gear. We loved the 4 inside ceiling clips to hang our string leds and the center clip to hang our JBL clip on to enjoy tunes. Multiple pockets in each corner are super helpful as is the light diffuser. Our first trip had us waking up to snow and the rain fly kept the vestibule spaces next to each door super dry. There was a small rock that was missed between the tarp and the tent on the ground which punctured a small hole, so be mindful of that when setting up.

what is good: I got the new tent. Tent is big (6 people can really live inside). Very easy installation, even for one small person like me. Can see the sky if installed without the rain cover. The rain cover itself is really waterproof. What I do not like: the cloth of the tent and the cloth of the rain cover looks like not new. It's like somebody chew it for a long time, then somebody wash it, and add another water repellent impregnation on the rain cover and _on_the_internal_tent_ itself. I can see additional marking on the fabric of the tent, like it was used for something else before. At the same time, the cloth for the bag of the tent is made from exactly the same material, and it is perfect and smooth. I expect that this tent will not last long, maybe for one season only. Will return it back. On the photos on this site and another sites the rain cover and the tent cloth looks much better than in reality.
