I got my first HF almost a year ago to use as an everyday water bottle. I have loved it, nit a couple of weeks ago I noticed that it isn't keeping my water cold anymore. I have dropped it and there is a small dent. I'm thinking it's not as durable as I thought.

Very cool bottle but it's silly there isn't a boot for it. It will dent on first fall hitting hard ground.

I have a stone 40 oz that I like, but it's heavy, so i was excited when the trail series came out (I bought 2 obsidian. After a dozen hikes, here are some things i've noticed: - how well they hold the ice/cold depends on the lid you're using (flex cap [less ice], flip cap [more ice]) - they are 'easy' to clean but if you don't dry them out, they show every dry spot of water - and this applies to these and my original 40 oz - the outside get's scratched and stained super easy, so no matter how much you clean them, the scuffs, fingerprints and scratches will show and stay.

I have had this bottle for almost a year now. I wanted something larger than the 24 oz HF I was already using daily, but the other bottles were too wide for my car's cup holder. This one just fit, which is a huge plus for me. It is noticeably lighter than the traditional HFs, but once it's full of water the difference isn't huge. It performs just as well as any other HF I've had as far as keeping things cold or hot, so overall I'm quite happy with it. The few little complaints, they don't make any silicone boot for this size bottle and mine is heavily dinged (it literally rocks when sat on a flat surface. Part of this is because I have a toddler and she loves to have dada wawa, but still, my other bottles didn't seem to dent as easily. My other minor complaint is that I don't like the metallic color options as much as the choices you get with the regular line of HF bottles.

Good size, weight and design, but the medium boot I bought with it didn?t fit. Sad because it dents easily since it?s lighter and thinner material. Not sure if the small boot will fit but didn?t want to take a chance with the wrong size as most of my hydroflasks are the wide mouth sizes.

I bought a few of these a few weeks ago. Most were purchased as gifts, but I couldn't help but hang onto one. Who doesn't need another Hydro Flask. Same great performance and 25% lighter. I call it a win. Love the color scheme and the "beathable" strap. The flex strap is hands down the most comfortable carry solution of any bottle out there.

The bottle is excellent in every way except that it's hand wash only. It is lighter and the finish is nice, hydro flask quality is bar none, but I wish I would have read that last line of the description that said hand wash only. Not the end of the world at all, but still, it'd be nice.

Lighter and narrower than the standard bottles, the Trail Series is far more convenient to carry wherever you go. That being said, many of theses reviews state that it fits in the cup holders in their car. The 32 oz does not fit in mine, but the 24 oz does (although a standard bottle will, too). There does not appear to be any difference in the length of time that it maintains temperature compared to the standard bottles - something I was a little concerned about considering how narrow it is. I figured the depth of the vacuum lining would be narrower, reducing the insulation - I was incorrect in this assumption. I purchased the 32 oz for myself and the 24 oz for my wife; we are both beyond pleased. The colors, in my opinion, are nicer than the standard powder coating, too.

My hydroflask arrived about a week ago. I love that it (barely fits in the cup holder of my Kia Soul. Like many other people, I was frustrated at the lack of a boot. After hours of research, I finally found one! It’s a JarJackets product made for 16oz mason jars. Fits perfectly! I might try cutting it down to be a little shorter though.

I purchased this for my husband. He loves his 32OZ wide mouth but it was annoying to take on car trips as it did not fit in the cup holders. To our disappointment, it does not hold ice nearly as long as his old 32 OZ - even with the compromised insulation!

I love how lightweight this bottle is! It fits in the side pocket of my backpack. I rate it a 4 out of 5 because the finish of the bottle is too smooth, which is a bit of a downside to the bottle. (The standard bottles are textured.) It has slipped out of my backpack before. I also have a hard time trying to open it if my hands are wet. The worst part is washing it with soap and water. It's so hard to get a grip. Other than, it's still a great bottle for its weight. It keeps the temperature much better than the standard bottles I have.

It's a beautiful bottle and we love it. The only thing - and it's a big thing for us - is the lack of a boot to fit it. Our other hydros have held up really well with the boots on them and I fear this bottle will have a short lived life of looking good before the base starts to get all dented up. It's a shame that hydro is making bottles without a boot option.

Absolutely love this bottle. it goes everywhere with be. Fits in my car cup holder and my pack well. But, I ordered the medium boot, to keep it safe while kayaking, and it doesn't fit! I know the small won't fit just from looking at the 24oz bottles in store. I was hoping the medium would fir but was let down. I hope the make a boot that will fit the trail series bottles since they are promoted for rugged activity.

Super lightweight, but it pays a price BIGTIME. Where? Durability. The bottle was about 3/4s full, toppled over and fell over beside itself (on the same level) while on the ground; it must've hit a small pebble because there's now a little dent in it! My other HFs have survived much worse. Colors are stylist, width is nice for a 32oz and it's definitely lightweight, but NOT durable at all - expect it to get dents and dings with the smallest of normal usage. I know it's only cosmetic and I'll likely cover it with stickers to hide the dents/dings, but just know where the weight reduction is coming from when considering this bottle. I can even push fairly firmly on the outer wall to dent it.

This is the first hydro flask bottle I’ve purchased and I love it! Keeps my water cold, this version is slimmer and light weight and fits perfectly in my cup holder. Since it fits 32 oz, I have to fill it up less frequently so I’m also drinking more water. I saw a lot of prior complaints as there isn’t a boot option for this size. I was able to find a boot on amazon that fits perfectly (see photo). I also love the color. I fully intend on purchasing more bottles in the future!

I've had this water bottle for about a month now, and it's truly the best one I own. I could list numerous other brands of bottles that I own, and none of them compare to this Hydro Flask. It's definitely leaps and bounds above competitors in every way. It's even a step above the original 32oz Hydro Flask. This bottle is incredible. It's easy to hold, easy to use, and does it's job incredibly well. It's still pretty weighty, but obviously lighter than it's "older sibling." This bottle fits in cup holders and everything! It's the ultimate water bottle! HUGE shout out to Hydro Flask for this one, they knocked it out of the park. Like others, I would like for a boot to show up on the market in the future, but it's not absolutely necessary. I still find this bottle to be very durable, I just want the boot as a personal preference.

I have never owned a product that keeps/maintains cold better than Hydroflask Trail Series. No sweating either... Before going to bed, I load up with ice / oranges and water. In the AM, still frozen cubes. Highly recommend for anyone in country or city. You guys have spoiled me compared to other brands.

Bought this last week at a local retailer to replace my stolen one. Its great! I was looking for a 32 oz and this one happens to be a bit skinnier and taller than the regular 32 oz flasks. Only problem is that none of the protective boots fit this special sized hydroflask. Thats a big problem for me personally because i want to protect my hydroflask from dents and scratches at the bottom. No third-party boots fit it either. Hydroflask! Bring out a boot that fits this special sized bottle and I'll give it 5 stars.

I bought this bottle as the 6th or 7th hydro flask in my collection and I love it. Really a fan of the brand and the quality. Only concern is the exposed solder mark on the very bottom. I have bought these bottles for the ease of mind of being lead free and this raises some concern. Would love a response from the company regarding this mark.
