5'8", 185lbs. Fits really well (yes a little beer belly, broad shoulders) and there's enough room to put on a down vest underneath. Love the texture and look of the G-1000: rugged but refined. I did pull off the colorful logo: it's a little too "look at me!"

Very sturdy material. Should last forever. Medium fits me great. Sleeve length and body length is great. I am 6ft and 165lbs.

I have a 20+ year old Greenland Jacket that is still going strong (and looks really cool, has been through a lot of travel!) but I wanted something a little more casual as well but with the same rugged construction. This fits like a trucker jacket but looks really nice--you can dress it up, or go rough and outdoorsy with it. Could use another secure pocket of some kind but it's fine as-is for my purposes. As for the fit, I'm about 5'7" and 135 lbs, and the small fits me great, fine with just a t-shirt but also great with a t and a sweatshirt or sweater under it - this works because it has a very classic fir--some say it's "boxy" but to me that's a feature! Nothing worse than layering under a jacket and when you button it up it'a torso-hugging. I'm a skinny little guy and it looks right on me, buttoned or unbuttoned. The green color is really nice too.

Lifetime piece. I love the tailoring and construction.  Simple, durable, and attractive.  I really like this jacket.

Not really sure who or what this is made for. Wish it was better optimized, especially at $200. Very boxy body in both small and medium, can surely accommodate the largest of beer belly's. Tailored through the sleeves making it too snug in the elbows for actual work. It's just odd. Untailored body for working, but tailored sleeves for casual/classed up fit that restrict when working. Tailored sleeves for a classed up fit that look nice, majorly oversized body that looks silly and sloppy. Is it a working coat or style coat? The sleeves say one thing and the body says another. It's built like a work coat, featured liked a work coat, and in a working coat material- but it's just not all the way there in the fit department. It has so much potential as an upland hunting coat. Bomb proof, simple, and classic but it just misses the mark enough for me to complain about it. Dial in the fit and make it in blaze orange and you've really got something the market is missing in my opinion. Wish Fjallraven would embrace the hunting genre more like they were trying with the Lapland line. G1000 is a fantastic material in the field.

Extremely boxy in the body. Looks like it's made specifically to accommodate a beer belly. Tried a size medium and it was wildly big in the body, tried a size small and still the same. Very nice material and features, understated and built to last. Really disappointing that a company that identifies as an outdoors/active company can't get the fit right on their clothes for active/slim people. Not exactly sure who this jacket is cut to fit. Really bummed I'll be returning or getting it tailored.
