Excellent choice, better than expected. Traveled to remote fly in fish camp, perfect on all flights including float plane. Think we will use on all travel from now on.

The cargo hauler was just what we needed, lots of space. My complaint are the colors. They are too light. After using them on 1 airline flight they show scuffs and marks from the baggage handlers. Eagle creek use to have similar in darker colors. Jeff Kovell

Purchased this bag after using the smaller 29 inch model on an extended trip to Asia. The quality and design of the Cargo Hauler models is top notch. Grab handles on all sides make it easy to lift. Wheels have some mileage on them but they are still in perfect condition despite being loaded with some serious dive gear. The bags themselves are light for their size which leaves more weight allowance for gear. Best bags I've ever purchased!

I bought this luggage for an upcoming trip. I haven't used it yet, but seems well made and durable. I bought my grand daughter a couple of similar pieces earlier this year. Looking forward to using it.

I purchased this wheeled duffle in December and I've already taken it with me on 3 work trips this year and have several more work trips planned. My only complaint so far is that it shows dirt REALLY easy. With a lot of scrubbing and the use of some sort of cleaner, I am able to get rid of 99% of the marks. The outer material is very durable, so even when I use a heavy duty scour pad to remove the marks, nothing gets damaged.

I love this duffle. It's SUCH an advantage to have a retractable handle. (I have the compressable one, too - and it flops around when dragging it around. ) I also love the bright colors. The only issue is that he airline absolutely TRASHES the material. On my very first flight, both of my EC haulers came down the carousel just filthy black with grease. It gets worse every time I fly and I can't get it out. I would love it if EC had a cleaning solution. Washcloth and warm water aren't cutting it

Great bag-I've only used it a few times so far but it seems sturdy and well designed. Easy to maneuver around with the built in wheels and handles. The material is strong yet lightweight. It can hold a lot and the compression straps on the outside help a lot. It's a lot easier for my kids to wheel this compared to a suitcase.

On my second extended European trip with this suitcase. I love the size. Plenty of room to bring lots of clothes and gear, yet it usually stays under the weight limit of the airlines. The large diameter wheels roll well on rough terrain and the telescopic handle works perfectly. The handles and zippers are very stout and you can just tell this thing is built to go the distance. The floor strap system is great for securing clothes and loading the bag in layers. My partner loves this bag too because I usually have extra room for the things she wants to bring that don't fit in her bags. The forever warranty gives me great peace of mind since I travel a lot and am not easy in gear. Another reason I am a fan of Eagle Creek!

My brother and I wanted a new piece of luggage for diving trips and this checked all of the options: Ability to use as backpack, but mainly as a roller bag. This size fit our entire dive gear set plus some clothes and toiletries. I ended up bringing an additional small bag, but otherwise fit a whole dive kit. Stood up well over 7 flights over 2. 5 weeks going all over Thailand and beyond. Very happy with it.

I use this for climbing and ski gear when traveling by plane. At first I thought I might want a slightly larger size but this size was perfect for staying under the 50lb limit. It seems like we'll have this bag for the next couple decades of travel - hopefully a solid investment!

Took this on my first trip to Peru and the airport ruin the look of my bag. So many scratch marks and tears. I paid so much for this bag and it looks like I've had it for 10 years. The straps held up and the bag seems structurally good. Just disappointed with the look of the bag after first trip.

Took 16 days to Japan it was great! It was the only bag that I Took with me and had plenty of space to bring back souvenirs! It's rugged construction and it stay upright improvements were great as it did not tip over and was easy to maneuver on my 5'4" frame. I also have to ORV 36 inch rolling duffel, which is great, but the problem is that I've barely been able to use it because it's so big that most Guided trips do not allow luggage this big. And either end of being too over for the airlines or being empty, which is not cost-effective. The cargo hauler XT 32 has been the perfect bag for the hiking of hiking Adventures around the world that I go and it's usually a size that's perfect for any kind of trip. I highly recommend it.

Has handles in the right places to carry. When packed full stayed under 20kg weight limit for some of the airlines we used.

Purchase the bag for an extended trip overseas. Well constructed and interior is spacious. I tried using the backpack straps, but it was way too uncomfortable with 50 lbs in it. Lightweight the straps would probably be OK. The exterior got extremely dirty in just one flight. I tried cleaning it, but no luck. A brand new $400 bag looks like I've used and abused it for years.

We have traveled all around the world with our 28in suitcase that finally needed some service after 10 years. The warranty process was easy and when they told us that our bag couldn't be repaired they gave us a credit towards a new bag. We loved our past bag but we were supposed how much more features the equivalent bag has gained over the years! Great customer service and we will continue to be loyal customers.

I just returned from the first trip with my Cargo Hauler. I bought it to take the place of an Andiamo Wheeled Duffel bag that I bought 25 years ago. It's still going but I fear it may "die" at any minute. The only complaint I have about the bag is that I wish the "bag pack straps" were removable and that there was the option of a single removable strap, also. At age 70, I'm not going to take the bag back-packing, but I did use the straps when I need to weigh my bag (I just wish they were removable}. I could use the space for something else. I've thought about cutting the straps off, but then won't have a strap (if you have any suggestions I'm open). I would've given the bag 5+ stars if it hadn't been for that minor issue.

Well made, spacious, held all I needed for 2 weeks in Europe, pricey but worth it, rolled easily with the extended handle. The two lifting handles on top are convenient. With shape and color easily recognized in airport baggage claim area.

Great material-water proof, sturdy Handle, heavy duty wheels make it easy to haul. Plenty of room for everything I needed for my 3 day stay in Reykjavik and 14 day cruise to Iceland and Nova Scotia. I packed heavy duty clothes-shirts, jackets, waterproof boots, etc. It fit perfectly under my cruise stateroom bed

I purchased one of these for each of my 4 grandchildren so they would have their own suitcases. Our oldest grandson used his to come and visit us to ski. He said it was perfect. It packed everything he needed for his two week stay. Best of all, because of the ridged frame and pull handle , it didn't bend in the middle like most large duffles do. I purchased Eagle Creek for these 4 duffles because of our personal experience with other suitcases we've purchased from Eagle Creek. We have some that are over 10 years old. We love that they are very light weight and hold up perfectly no matter how much use and even abuse they get.

Have only made one trip with this bag--a purchase to replace a previous Eagle Creek bag that after 18 years was worn out. Good capacity and I like that it has structure to it (we have a similar size Eagle Creek bag with no internal structure, which is easy to store and good for some things, but I prefer this one). My husband loves the shoulder straps, I love the handle, wheels and internal structure which add less weight than comparable bags. Might be able to give it five stars... will let you know after 10 or so trips! :)

I like this bag. I have already used it. It fits all (or most) airline size requirements and holds a large quantity of items. The bag itself is lightweight so there is more weight allowance for contents.
