Adequate little boot. I?ve always

Adequate little boot. I?ve always liked wool: repels water and yet breathes well. For me the only drawback is it needs a little more padding in the heel area, but I have trouble getting boots that don?t press on the back of my heel.

These boots perform exactly as expected after a brief break-in period. They are very comfortable, and I anticipate many years of good use from them.

I?ve worn them several times

I?ve worn them several times a week for the past month. They?re as comfortable as a pair of slippers and I can wear them with khakis or jeans. They seem to be well-made, too.

Comfortable

I been eyeing these boots for a while. Finally got them. I?m an avid hiker, camper, outdoorsman. I broke these in the day after I got them on a steep mountain, cold morning, while it was raining. So, they were supper comfortable, waterproof, and they kept my feet warm. They didn?t hold up grip wise to my 11mile round trip hike up crazy terrain, but these are not made for crazy hikes and it says that on the site. So I would give them five starts for what I put them through. Looking at the mountain 600s now

Danner Jackal boots

I wish Danner would bring back the Jackal boot. An excellent boot and extremely comfortable and lightweight.

Danner Jag Wool

The sizing runs about a full size large, I normally wear an 11.5 in a number of Danner boots and running shoes. Ordered an 11.5 and they are about a full size too large. May re-order in a 10.5 and find someone who wears 12-12.5 to give the first pair. They would have gotten a 4 out of 5 if the sizing was true. I bought these for casual work wear and walking on paved surfaces, seems like they will handle light-duty off pavement.
