I have hardly worn them

I have hardly worn them except in the house at this but I will say they are very well made and I do not feel as though they need any breaking in at all. So easy to wear, just like my other Danners !

This is my third pair

This is my third pair of Danner?s and it won?t be my last. These boots have me spoiled for any other brand. I can walk for miles in them and they feel like they hug my feet back. I recommend them to everyone. Buy with confidence. True to my size, these are nice and roomy with thin athletic socks for every day wear, but would probably feel even better with a thicker hiking sock. Going on a biking trip along the Rhine and wanted something light but trusty that I could pack in my panniers. Can?t wait to get some dust on them walking up and down those old cobblestone streets.

Amazing shoe! Bought them for my trip in Panama but now I use them for everyday walking. I have high arches and added my arch insert for extra support, they are naturally on the flatter side. Many compliments! Would buy again.

Love the look and fit but?

The shoes started creaking when I walk only a few days after wearing them. It?s not that loud, but enough for me to notice it every time I take a step. I love the retro look, color combo and the fit.

Danner shoes are fabulous

I love Danner shoes and boots, and this one is no exception. Super comfortable, feels good on the feet, great for everyday walks or several mile hikes. Highly recommended. BTW, the photo is accurate on color and look. Comes with two sets of laces.

I love these. I?ve been

I love these. I?ve been caught in the rain and my feet have stayed dry. Good traction on rockier terrain. But also lightweight enough to go from hiking to comfortably walking through town. Also they seem to resist stains from dirt and leaves better than I expected, especially for a light color.

great hiking sneakers, they are

great hiking sneakers, they are very sturdy. I wore them hiking in the Grand Tetons, I did about 10 miles and my feet did not hurt during or after the hike. Only negative is my feet got hot wearing them all day in 80 degree temps.

Reintroducing A 1980s Danner Original
The original Danner Jag debuted in the '80s as a lightweight alternative to classic, heavy-duty hiking boots. After a few years on the trail supporting external frame backpacks and complementing denim cut-offs, the Jag was retired. Now 30 years later, Danner re-introduced the Jag as a more versatile version of its former self. It's comfortable both on the trail and around town, and incorporates durable, lightweight materials, a cushioning EVA midsole, and a new waffle outsole that adapts to a wide variety of terrain. Danner proud to re-introduce this Danner original.

Nubuck Leather & Nylon Upper
For superior abrasion- and scuff-resistance, Danner use full grain nubuck leather combined with lightweight, breathable nylon. This combination offers some of the best protection in cold and wet environments.

Mesh Lining
Lightweight and breathable for total foot comfort.

Two Lace Options
Because you can never have too many laces, this pair comes with an alternative color.

Removable Ortholite Footbed
Three layers of varying density are combined for maximum cushioning and support. The entire footbed is made of open-cell polyurethane for better heat dissipation and air circulation.

Eva Midsole
Known for its lightweight properties, EVA is a special polymer that provides excellent cushioning.

Retro Danner
This waffle outsole is designed to adapt to a variety of terrains, from sidewalks to light trails.
