Great shoes...subpar laces.

Overall, I think this is a great shoe for the price. I use these shoes for power walking and have put many miles on them with no appreciable wear. My only gripe about the shoe is the laces. Every single time I've worn them, the laces have become untied....both shoes. After replacing the laces with another set, I've had no problems.

Columbia Redmond V2 men's hiking shoes

I use these shoes mostly for just walking around, so I can't comment on how they'd hold up when it comes to hiking. I can state that they're very comfortable. Also, they feel well made and sturdy, so I'm pretty sure they'll last me a long time just like my previous Columbia hiking shoes.
