CamelBak Eddy Replacement Cap and Straw

Fits a very old Camelback aluminum water bottle just as the reviews suggested it would. Top is well made. I cut a bit off the end of the straw because it was too long for the water bottle. That was easy as well. It beats having to purchase a brand new bottle. Glad this was an option.

I had one long ago, but I had to give it up because it was for me kinda difficult to clean everything (I mean daily) and I had some issues too with the straw and bite piece. Yes these bottles are worth the money, but the creators must learn to read the comments in order to know what to improve: not only the smal. . . kids ones deserve colors and funny stiff, but the bigger ones too! For example I wanted a 25 oz or 32 oz bottle with a colored mouth piece and maybe some prints. And that grey/black cap -it's kinda depressing, sad.

I think I cut the straw the wrong length. It's also hard to drink through a straw when used to drinking through a glass.

Great fit and prompt shipping. Had to replace the lid bc the valve was moldy and I ripped it trying to clean it. Not sure that selling a valve only would have been better as it's hard to install it, so am glad I could get this replacement part.

I purchased this to replace the cap and straw on a camel bak bottle that I've had for years. I was leery about it actually fitting because my bottle is that old, but I read reviews and everyone said it would fit - and it does. I like the valve; it seems easier to drink from than the old one.

We needed to replace the lids because one of our kids chews everything to pieces, so they were no longer able to maintain suction. The replacement lids work great. We can't use the straws because they are too long. I guess they are for newer taller models.

Little difficult to screw onto my old edy but it does the job of not leaking! Also the straw is short despite me cutting to the exact length of my old straw. Oh well, if my water gets that low anyway I know it's time for more. Just wish it wasn't black because the old lid was the same blue as the bottle and it doesn't look as good. But very minor thing. Will put it to the test on my international trip in May.

I love my new top. It looks so nice atop my older container. I'm having to get used to the new bite. It's softer than my old one. But all works well. I'm 71 and have had my Eddie for 12 or 13 years. Would buy again in a snap if I needed to. Thanks for your products. They're great.

I have had a Camelbak Eddy for the last 10+ years and have always loved it. Recently however, no matter how much I clean it, even the replacements, my bite valves mold. I've tried multiple different cleaners and soaps, boiling it, and anything else I can think of, and the mold won't come off. I'm worried it's going to make me sick and I no longer want to use the bottle.

My old cap started getting a white film in spots of the part my mouth goes on. I tried to clean but was unsuccessful. I bought the replacement instead and I'm glad I did.
