These boots offer the perfect balance of being very supportive while also being roomy enough - especially in the toe box area, which is very important to me. I was also able to use my insoles for extra arch support.

I have to admit that I bought them simply because they are beautiful-looking boots. They are comfortable and I love the fact they come with two different colored laces. This is my third pair of Danner boots only in 30 years so yes they last. These are my cool boots that I will keep clean and wear around town.

I have wide feet and these boots still fit well. They have great grip, are comfortable to wear all day and the laces don't loosen while wearing. I have worn them in the rain and they keep my feet warm and dry just like they are supposed to!

I'm a little concerned about the way they fit around my ankles. I have pretty bony ankles, and they hurt on the sides and back. If you know anything that will relieve that, please let me know. Otherwise will keep trying to break them in.

Excellence as always with Danner. I started wearing women's Banner boots in the Army in 2008. Every pair of Danner boots and work shoe fit me like a good worn-in leather glove. Their women's products are not just mini-versions of their men's products; best of all the tough quality of women's work styles are just as sturdy and well mad as the men's work boots and shoes. The quality of materials isn't skimped on just because they are made for women! No blisters, very little wearing in and great arch support. I must have had 10 pair at least by now. While most companies are always making changes to cut costs and "improve" the product, Danner has a winner and sticks by it 100%. Don't change a winning fit my friends! We are life-long battle buddies on deployment, working on our farm, grocery shopping or out for a stroll. Thank you!

Danners are my favorite! This pair was for my mom. She is an Oregon girl and had never tried/owned a pair. She LOVES them. The sizing was perfectly predictable and she loved the look of them. In my experience, Danner's do not need "breaking in." Thank you for making such a high-quality, great looking shoe. I also have to commend you on the fast shipping and attention to detail with the packaging. The box was wrapped in brown paper so it was incognito.

Bought them as a gift for my wife. They fit as advertised, she stated they feel great and support as needed, while being light. It's what she needed for short and moderate hikes. I have Danners for hunting and used them while in the Marines, so I gave her truly tested boots.

So first of all I LOVE DANNER. I will Forever be a Danner girl. But I used these for my job. Which I am a zoo keeper. After the first day I wore them. I had discoloration, which to me it's eh I don't mind. But over the next few wears I decided they don't support my feet like the vertigo 917 do. Which I desperately need working on my feet 9-10 hours a day. So they are now retired to be my cabin shoes where I wont wear them for long periods of time.

I just happened across these in a Bozeman MT shop as I was about to throw in the towel on finding a decent pair of hikers. I'd never heard of Danner before this, but after slipping these babies on I knew it was going to be the start of a beautiful relationship. These took ZERO breaking-in as they were comfy from day one for me. I've gone on short hikes and just this past summer (I've owned them for 2 years now), they were my flyfishing wet-wading boots. They worked like a charm on the riverbed and dried out pretty quickly and without any shape change. LOVE these and will likely buy another pair soon just to be sure I have another set for when these finally go out and before Danner stops making them (although they should make these in perpetuity!). My usual size (8) fit just right.

I love the boots!! The only issue is the stitching on the inside where my pinky toe hits the boot. After numerous toe blisters I had to apply a sticker to the inside to prevent rubbing on the stitching. Now they are perfect

I?ve always disliked hiking boots because they?re either too heavy or too stiff or both. These have just the right amount of traction and support without being cumbersome. Perfect!

I went on an 11 mile hike to pinnacles national park wearing these brand new danner boots and they were amazing! I didn?t even need to brake them in! I wish I would have orders 1/2 size smaller because I do feel that they stretched out a bit. They are extremely comfortable and worth every penny.
