The Cabana was an awesome pickup for a recent trip to lake Michigan. It gave plenty of cover from the sun for us and the dogs. It had more room than expected and was great for a 6 foot 1 person to take a mid day nap. If you are thinking about getting one, think no more.

Used this at Lake Michigan on a few windy days. It held up great. Good size. Sun-shielded twin babies and offered good ventilation. Easy to set up and take down. Strongly recommend.

Like the over all design of this cabana even though it is a little tedious to set up, but usually no issues when finished. Can be tricky setting up in windy conditions. Only real bummer is the fabric has no upv rating, you can feel the ultraviolet rays toasting you as you sit inside it. The whole point of having this was to get out of the ??. A fabric beach shade without a upf coating is useless if your just going to continue to burn while using it.

The Cabana is a great canopy for getting out of the sun while on the beach, which is what we used it for. We had a previous canopy that trapped the wind and would blow it over and the poles were not great in the sand. The poles on this canopy were solid fiberglass and had no issues with the same. The sleeves and clips for the poles were fantastic, no difficulties setting it up, and the netting was perfect for letting wind pass through and not carry the entire canopy away with the heavy gusts off the shore. The bottom was a great addition over out last canopy and ability to close windows and the main opening were all great design considerations that we found very helpful for our family. Also, the carry bag was accommodating for the stakes, sand bags, poles, and canopy. The adjustable, wide strap was a nice touch as well. We are so very happy with this purchase and continue to be thankful for Kelty and their reliable and great quality products. We used this a couple times at Hampton Beach in New Hampshire.

I have used the shelter twice at Gulf Coast beaches?winds were 7-15 MPH and there was no problem at all. It is very easy to set up and take down and provides excellent coverage. Everything fits nicely and easily in the carrying case. The shelter definitely exceeded my expectations.

Our new beach tent was easy to assemble and the sand bags worked great in light winds off Cape Canaveral, FL. Overall, very room and a nice quality beach tent.

I purchased this cabana for an upcoming beach trip. I have purchased cabanas in the past and this is by far the nicest one I have ever used. I was surprised at how easy it was to set up. I initially looked at the mass of material on the floor and the label on the carry bag that referred to "lightning fast setup" and laughed. Once I looked it over for a minute or two and looked at the picture of the cabana I was very pleased with how easy it was to set up. The material, the poles, the stitching, the screens; everything looks very nice and high quality. I am very glad I ordered this and look forward to using it for many beach trips to come.

Easy to set up with one person. Good quality like all Kelty products I have bought over the years. The stow bag is GREAT because it has plenty of room for the tent, and other items. I bought nine-inch plastic stakes for sand, and even put a hard rubber hammer in the bag, so it's just grab and go to the beach. The little metal stakes included are good only on ground.

Purchased this because my wife and I were going on a family beach week vacation and we both have red hair and pale skin. The cabana worked like a charm and was the envy of everyone around us. The ventilation is amazing while still providing ample sun coverage. The thing I was most impressed by was how it held up in windy conditions with only the sand bags to stake it down. If you're on the fence, I rec going ahead and buying this!

This tent beat my expectations. Used it the first time on a sunny but cold and windy beach (pacific). The setup was quick and easy (though it does take 2+ people). Next, rolling up the shades made it stop 90% of the wind from passing through and also protecting from the sun. My 5 month old and wife were nicely enjoying the beach in the tent!

For the price point the Cabana is great. However, I would be willing to pay more if floor was made from a heavier material with rip stop material. The reason I am saying this is because after our 1st outing I've already had to make some repairs. Contrary to other reviews the Cabana did well in winds gusting up to 15 mph, the Cabana was occupied with 3 people.

We are very impressed, as we hoped to be, with the Cabana. Set-up is easy (follow the directions exactly), take down and packing also so simple. The windows let the breeze through so wind was not a problem once it was in place and staked down. We just need more beach time to enjoy it.

I've put together pop up tents before, this was no different. Three poles, make sure the long one goes under the two shorter ones, snap on the plastic clips, and adjust the vent flaps and it's ready to go! 4 bags for sand weights were included so we used those and tied a simple knot to the 4 attachment points and it worked great as it was a lightly windy day. Like tents it can get a little warm when the vents up, but after a dip in the ocean it was perfect. Two adults with low chairs fit comfortably, with a bit of room to spare. I like that I don't have to lug umbrellas and a beach blanket to get some shade now, the cabana is a lot lighter and more portable.

I looked at a zillion cheaper shelters and decided to just go ahead and buy this one. I am not an outdoorsy person. I haven't camped since I was a teenager. I needed something for the beach so I could sit near the water and read and I needed it to be easy to carry and set up. Honestly, it's a dream. It was quick to set up and take down and not heavy at all to carry. I need to practice techniques to roll it up more efficiently but this thing is fantastic all around.

Very easy to set up solo and provides great shade for the kiddo at the beach. The 2 shorter poles didn?t fit very well into the end slots and are stretched to the max almost as if the fit is off.

We tried the tent for the first time at the Outer Banks this week. We love it! It was easy to put up and take down, and it provides lots of shade and shelter on a small footprint unlike some of the large sail-like shelters that seem to take up a quarter of an acre.

Overall easy setup at the beach and the included sand bags held everything down. Wish the whole shelter was about 30% bigger to accommodate our Kelty chairs and a cooler.

The only suggestion I would make is a heavier duty bottom - more like a tarp material. If you put normal chairs on this, it would rip through the material, especially on rocky ground. Other than that, it?s great! Easy set up, holds up in the wind, the width of it is great!

This is a wonderful cabana. It really blocks the suns rays to provide great shade. It is tough and does not blow over easily when staked or weighed down. Fits 3 folding chairs with room to squeeze in a fourth. Fits two lounge chairs comfortably with room for your cooler or kids to sit on the floor. Easy to set up and break down.
