Great, I was able to fit a queen size mattress and my kiddos toddler bed and still had room to walk around, very roomy

I bought it for my son for his birthday. I've owned many high end tents, but kelty always comes through. I know he'll love it for car camping.

I?ve had this set up out back to camp with the kids for the past couple of weeks. I?m 6?2? and I can stand up in it with an inch or two to spare; major back saver. Fits two full size air mattresses with room to walk between. Perfect for sleeping 4 comfortably, I have zero regrets with the purchase. Yet another solid piece of gear from Kelty!

Tent zipper gets caught often and is a little annoying but for the value it?s hard to say no to this tent.

Great tent. Only downside is the zipper gets caught frequently. Bummer in the middle of the night. Color scheme Is great and it looks sharp :)

So far my family and I have used the Tallboy 6 several times over the last year. We have typically taken it to the coastal of North Carolina and a couple times in the mountains. It has worked great in everything from 80 degree to 40 degree weather, and 30mph winds. It has stood up well with our two little ones camp antics and is super easy/quick to setup. The only down side is that the zipper catches easily when zipping from the bottom up, but that has been fairly common on every tent I have owned.

Tent was easy to set up and very roomy. The zipper stuck on the tent material right away and we couldn't budge it without fear of ripping material. Also the zipper pull is a bungee cord loop so there is nothing to really grab to pull the zipper. Made it hard to get in and out of the tent. The flap to cover the zipper kept getting caught in the zipper. Also not really a 3 season tent as it was very cold in 30-40 degree weather, but on plus side it rained and never leaked. Easy to take down and fits nicely in bag.

Haven’t used it in the outdoors but did set it up in the backyard. I’m right at 5’11” and can stand up in the center. Tons of room and super easy to set up.

So I bought 4 tents to replace 4 older Kelty tents for my youth group. So I now have 4 older tents and 4 new tents. The new tents don't have a fly that goes down to the ground so the new tents don't have a "vestibule" where you could put your shoes or luggage etc.

On our first trip using it, we ended up with typical fall weather in southeast Alaska... Cool and very rainy. Setup was a breeze, even in the dark and rain, and it kept us dry the entire time. Highly recommend!

9.5. My old Kelty was a 3poke tent. Rubber tips on one side to make it easy to slip through the pockets. This tent, only two poles - but the pinned ends catch I bit going through the pockets. Other than that, would there there were two means of egress...

Set up was okay, I’m short and it took three of us. The last tent stake going up was very tight and I worry about the long term stress it will put in the seams. It stood up to strong winds on a seaside cliff. Overall it’s okay, but I don’t think it’s a 3 season tent, it has too much mesh to keep us warm below 40, and this is why I gave it 3 stars. This is my second Kelty tent and I liked my older tent from 15+ years. I will be adding a tarp to the floor as it’s not very thick.

The tent is good very well built easy set up and take down. My only issue with the design is that there is no window other than the one on the door, this made the tent a little stuffy. A window on the back would help get some air flowing the tent.

We have 2 other Kelly tents and have always been so happy with Kelty. Four poles and so easy to put up and take down. Would not buy any other tents.

I used this tent with my wife and three kids in the mountains for a week. It rained several times and the inside stayed bone dry. The tent is made of high-quality material. It’s easy to set up and take down. The 6-person model is very roomy for my family of 5. I love how the rain fly snaps into each corner. I won’t be buying another tent for awhile, this one does a fantastic job.

This is a great tent! We slept comfortably as a family of 4 with plenty of space. We had a queen mattress and 2 sleeping pads. It is y’all with plenty of room to stand. Quick and easy set up too. The only thing I wish is that the door was able to be open with a full screen so you could see out when the kids are in there and the fly is on. But such a small thing.
