Just north of Glasgow lies the lush wilderness of Scotland’s Argyll Forest Park. Britain’s oldest forest park, it was established in 1935 and stretches from the shores of the Holy Loch to the jagged peaks of the Arrochar Alps. This is the edge of the Highland Boundary Fault, the gap marking the boundary between the Lowlands and the Highlands.

With its many hiking and mountain biking trails, most visitors agree that Argyll Forest Park is one of the finest of its kind in all of Britain. Enjoy this short film shot in Argyll, presented without narration to allow the viewer to experience the natural sounds of birdsong and rushing waters.
