Miles of hiking trails wind around and up the namesake rock, snaking along the Crooked River and treating hikers to sweeping vistas of the Cascade Mountain Range. Anglers can get in on the action as well, with long stretches of waterways to spend the day fly fishing. Because of its desert locale, extreme temperatures in the summer and winter can be intimidating, making this incredible natural playground best visited in spring or fall.
