Encounters with wild animals are not all that rare, but there is a vast number of people who haven’t the slightest clue what to do in the event of one. Fear can cause people to make a messier situation out of an animal encounter than is necessary, while an overabundance of courage can also escalate matters. But every once in a while, human ingenuity strikes, and we get to actually be part of the solution instead of the problem.
