Drop-stitch Technology

As shown in Advanced Element's inflatable standup paddle boards, drop-stitch technology allows us to create high pressure forms that are extremely rigid. The drop-stitch floor in this kayak creates a hull with chine, which enhances the tracking and hull speed, and adds unparalleled rigidity in an inflatable kayak.

The Advanced Element Advanced-Frame Expedition Elite Kayak weighs 42 lbs. (19 kg) is designed for one person and has a maximum weight capacity of 450 lbs. (204 kg). 9-chambers provide additional buoyancy and unique kayak shape. Low center of gravity design provides good stability and easy paddling. Boat is easy to set up with Twistlok valves and high flow Spring valves allow for quick setup time. The kayaks raised deck and adjustable lumbar seat provides comfort for hours of paddling. The unique design divides the main chamber into two separate air chambers that encompass the entire kayak. This provides optimum safety out on the water. Unlike many inflatable kayaks the Advanced Element kayak is developed with multiple layers of material for maximum durability. The kayak hull is made from PVC tarpaulin featuring polyester fabric sandwiched by layers of vinyl which creates a durable and strong outer cover. Boat has a rudder mount for Advanced Elements AE4005 Advanced-Trak Rudder Kit.

Bow and stern rubber molded handles make transporting boat to and from the water easy and comfortable. Kayak has bow bungees and stern D-rings for attachment of gear. Adjustable and removable foot rest and soft cockpit pads for added comfort when paddling. One benefit of an inflatable kayak is when deflated it folds into a compact size measuring 31" x 16" x 10" (78.75 cm x 40.6 cm x 25 cm) allowing easy storage and security of packing it into a trunk of bed of a vehicle rather than requiring roof racks and exposure to theft. Included with the kayak are a duffel bag with removable shoulder strap, repair kit and owner's manual.
