Medium size in these shorts is equivalent to a 'normal' size SIX. I'm 5'8" / 143 lbs and the medium, even though their sizing chart claims it's a 10, IT IS NOT. You pay for shipping BOTH on arrival and for returns with Sunnysports - even though it's their size chart that gives misinformation.

They run smaller than expected. I wear a size 12 so I ordered the large and they were too tight. The XL is a bit big but comfortable. Not fond of the wide leg at the base of the shorts. Love the deep pockets and extra pockets.

I bought 3 pairs. I wear them at home, gym and for hiking. The medium fit is comfortable for my small frame. Fabric seems flimsy for the darker color shorts. The pink shorts’ material is sturdier and hold their shape well. Great value and happy with items.

The shorts are cut very odd and pulled in the crotch area. I normally where a 14, but ordered extra large. Even the size up was uncomfortable. Sad didnâ??t fit. I have the Columbia brand and they are awesome.

I love these shorts! They fit perfectly (size 8, 116 lbs) . The pockets are deeper than most shorts, the snap is secure, the color is nice. I originally ordered a light beige color but those were see through. This color is not.

These LOOK much better on my wife than the prior size medium which we returned. These are a size large, she will normally wear a size 6. These fit well through legs and butt; however, waist is a bit large for her and will need to take a dart.

I am a perfect size 6 in most pants. After reading other reviews, I decided to order the medium. I ordered the khaki and the tan both in Medium. The Tan were so large that they slipped off my hips! The khaki were cut smaller, and although I could stand for them to be a little smaller, but was concerned that the small would be too small, so kept the khaki and returned the tan. These shorts are very cute and have lots of pockets and a great price. I would recommend, but the sizing seems to be inconsistent.

I bought a pair last year. Have been looking for more since. Small was good last year, this year the small is *well* smaller. I will buy the mediums.
