Great boots and great service!
Great boots! They seem to run about a half a size small. I returned mine and Sunnysports replaces with the next size up no problem! Very happy

Excellent boot
Love these! Correlation between my Nike size and these (.5 up from most other bands). These have a long break-in time but it is worth it because I can tell that they are built to last. Easy on the eyes too!

These are not your fathers boots
My first pair of Sundowners (Italian built) lasted 20 years of extreme hiking and climbing. (Resoled twice). Tried Vasque Clarions for a lighter boot but they came apart at the stitching after one climb so I returned them for a REI Sundowner replacement. Literally took those new boots out of the box and climbed Longs peak, North Face. I got 12 years out of my second pair of Sundowners. (Still Italian Built). I saw a black pair for sale and liked the look. Problem was they were now made in China. Soles split and fell off. If you buy Vasque boots, be sure to carry a tube of shoeGoo and some duct tape. Now the boots are made in Vietnam. DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND READ THE REVIEWS. You'll need a case of Moleskin with the boots made in Vietnam. Good News.... Those Italian Boot Makers are still making boots.... They just sell them under the ALICO brand.
