excellent piece of kit , this will last a lifetime and i can see myself adding to it overtime , i also own a small but will definitely be buying a large and medium tube as well depending on what i need and when, lightweight and strong takes up very little room and infinitely customisable. cannot recommend highly enough

I purchased VSSL First Aid and it's just what I needed. This is a well executed kit. The addition of the flashlight and compass makes me feel over prepared. This is an everyday carry for me and I love it.

The quality of the build was fantastic. Everything was great with the exception of one minor flaw. The flashlight is to rotate a sort of graded threading which destroys the plastic cover or seal, by affect of grinding, thus retarding the material of the plastic cover, or cap or seal. The O-ring got shredded as well.

Very satisfied with the kit for what it will probably be used for in most circumstances. It is very conveniently packaged together with the flashlight and a compass. I must agree though with others that it is a little difficult to get things back together once it is unpacked but I still think it is a very handy kit.

Great looking and colors rolled up pouch is very difficult to remove and replace could be made of thinner ripstop nylon to make use easier the aluminum outer sleeve is the major protection for set also had to add some pain relief ,imodem and antihistamine would be needed for completeness

A great compact First Aid Kit with only 2 real problems. The first is speed of access, you won't be getting to the contents too quickly since you'll need to unscrew one of the ends (not as slow as if you built your own using the small containers they have). The second is that the caps with Lights use very specific batteries that they advise you not to insert until they'll be used and there usually isn't room inside the containers to keep those batteries in. Honestly I wish they'd make their lights rechargeable rather than use the batteries they do.

First off, I love the VSSL products in general. I also really like this first aid kit but it is extremely tight to get the kit back into the cylinder after taking it out. There's also no room to supplement the kit with a few other basic things that should be in there. That's my only issue with it

First thing I noticed was the heft of it! Great quality! I could probably throw it off a cliff and it would still work?I won?t lol. I?m a nurse and already have a makeshift first aid kit, but this product is way more portable. Plus, the light and compass make for a perfect take along for road trips, hiking, camping, etc. I?m taking mine skiing this winter. It will fit perfectly in my backpack.
