Best all-around dive light that I take on EVERY dive! It's attached to my mask on my right side, opposite my snorkel, which balances out the weight of both. People make fun of me for how it looks, but they always know where I am and that I'll have at least one light with me at all times.

Light is a twist to turn on. I have several of these lights and have found them to be very dependable IF you keep the o-ring well maintained. Nice, compact, bright light with concentrated beam. Excellent product!

Ok, maybe I am not that demanding. Used it extensivly while diving in Bonaire. I have a good LED 4c light but I also have a camera in one hand. I gave the big light to my daughter and used this. For the rest of my trip I only used this light, day and night. Works great!

The mask strap doesn't work with my mask because of the mask strap pad. It didn't come with a wrist strap, so I'm trying to locate one. I've been using string and I don't like where they placed the spot to attach the wrist strap; when you let it hang it shines at you instead of down. Otherwise the light itself is wonderful. Very compact, very bright white light and so far seems to hold up really well. If used as a backup light be sure to check it once you are in the water. Mine has a tendancy to turn on initially for some reason on it's own. Once checked it stays off.

I used this light in addition to the hand-held lights provided. It surpassed the performance of the other units and the white light provided superior illumination!

this light is a solid classic. i think UK are the best dive lights. i had a miniQ40 (non-LED) for ten years, since i was 15. i loved it and used it for everything; camping, fishing, diving, etc. i lost it somehow. i thought it was bright, but this new eLED type is super bright. i also bought the mini pocket lite, and the SL4 sunlight (all UK). i use the SL4 and the miniQ40 between me and a friend when we go night snorkelling. it's plenty bright. i use the miniQ40 for backup when i go night diving. i also use the miniQ40 for day time snorkelling or diving for looking into caves and such. it's small, strong, durable, great shape and design. i don't think i'll ever not have at least a couple of UK lights. P.S. eLED is the way to go! DON'T buy bulb lights. batteries last so much longer (at least ten times longer) and eLEDs don't break. my tech-diver freind said "get eLED-trust me!" he was right. trust me.

This is a great little light. I used it as my 3rd light and kept it in my pocket until I dove a night dive with someone who had no lights. This became my back up...which I had to use when my primary's bulb burned out. It exceeded my expectations.
