I bought this suit for cycling, and since it is currently winter, I have yet to put the suit to the test. I can, however, share my initial thoughts based on trying it on and doing light exercises in it. I'm 5' 8", roughly 175lbs, and this suit fits almost perfectly. It's a little loose around the bottom of my thighs, but fits nice and snug everywhere else. Material feels great. Compared to my other gear, it's quality feels just as good. Front zipper is a blessing! Padding has more of a presence than my other gear, but I'm not looking at that as a negative. I prefer less, but that's preference. Doesn't seem to pinch or anything like that, so I have a feeling I'll appreciate it once I can get back on my bike. All-in-all, I really look forward to trying this thing out! Gave good reviews on "Performance" and "Durability" because it seems like it'll hold up, but if I can update this review towards the summer, I'll do so if it anything goes wrong.

use only for long open water swims.Able to carry small water bottle. Fit is good and the bike seat padding is unremarkable. some small chaffing on shoulder after 3 miles. fair price. I have only used 4-5 times. Too early to tell its longevity

I’m 6’3” and the size chart had me between a large and x-large, customer service pointed me to the XL and I’m glad they did. Fits like it should and comfortable on the bike! I would get another.

After purchasing a Sublitech 3.0 suit to race in this year, I realized I probably wouldn't want to train in it to make it last! So, I bought the Competitor suit, and it has performed wonderfully. Swimming, biking, and running are all very comfortable in this suit, and the fabric does a great job drying and wicking sweat away from the body. Also, it feels very durable and the zipper pocket adds a layer or protection to any ID/car keys I'm carrying. For a sizing reference: I am a 6', 155lb male and I bought the Small size. It fits really well, and the compression the suit provides is just right.

Pros: Good compression. Drys quickly. Decent bike padding. Cons: Fit is on the small side, especially in the chest and length. After two races it’s showing signs of wear on the seams.

I’m 6’2” and fluctuate between 165-170. I bought a medium and it fit just right. I come from a swimming background and prefer a tighter fit. This suit performs well across all three disciplines. The chamois was great on the ride and unnoticeable on the run. Some might perceive this as a con but I really liked the small zipper pocket in the back (prevents excess drag on the swim but doesn’t offer a ton of storage) - ideal for sprint/Olympic distance tris. Will definitely be exploring TYR’s more advanced suits as I get more into the sport. Do buy over competitor suits priced equally or higher.

I am 5'10" and 175#... Chest 42"... Waist 33" and I ordered the XL because I knew the product would run small. The upper section fits very tight... while the lower section is a bit baggy and loose around the lower thighs. I realize there is no "one size fits all"... so, I was not expecting perfection.

The suit I would have fit into by charting was a medium. But because of my condition, I needed a shorter inseam. I went up 2 sizes and it fits just fine. It may not be the ideal fit, but it works for me.

I purchased this suit, which arrived quite quickly, for my first triathlon. The suit fit great!! The material dried quickly and provided the perfect amount of compression throughout the cycling and running. The only issue I had was the zipper pull rubbed my skin raw just beneath it on my chest. I'd use body glide at that contact point or cover the zipper pull in a material that prevents chaffing and gouging. Overall an excellent suit at a fantastic price. I would absolutely buy it again.

Immediately noticed the snug fit that seemed to assist me in keeping good form and thus good technique--all without feeling constrained or creating hot spots. Inspected carefully and saw the good craftsman(woman)ship. Now to see how it endures.
