nice shape and texture

I like this pull float although the space between my legs is a bit to wide to hold it comfortably . A larger size would be great. Otherwise, I like it.

The hydrofoil shape is less

The hydrofoil shape is less bulky then standard pull buoys and more comfortable to use. It has a grippy texture that helps keep it in place.

The float is a bit un-easy to control. With four possible positions, you have to find the right fit. TYR states bulbous side down, point toward crotch. Once you find the right fit it easy sailing. I'm quite happy with mine, got it for $5 during Sport Authority's liquidation.

A lower overall height and longer surface area help create a natural, unrestricted training experience for high level swimmers. An ideal training aid for strengthening, the Hydrofoil Pull Float raises the body, to help develop upper body strength and proper technique. Designed to be placed between the legs, the Hydrofoil Pull Float helps swimmers concentrate on arm stroke and technique, by isolating the legs and negating kicking. Pull float is made from EVA foam.
