Just got these for my 8 year old son and we love them! He graduated from the little snowflakes, then the snow glows and we were ready for the real ones! I think these will last him a few years and look durable enough to pass on to our two younger ones too.

I gave a pair of these to a friend's 10 year old granddaughter, and she loves them. Now she can come with me and her grandmother when we go out. These are real snowshoes, not cheaply built like so much kids' gear seems to be. They have real crampons that dig in deeply and hold on all but the steepest terrain, and they provide plenty of flotation. The bindings are easy to use, and while you're not going to get the best security with a single strap over the instep they're certainly more than adequate for the snowshoes' intended usage. The heel strap has a friction buckle, which I like much more than the pin style buckles used on some other models. I'm really looking forward to the 3 of us hitting the trails again this winter! Maybe I'll see if her older brother would like a pair as well.

The first time I put these on my 6 year old girl she was off & running before I could even get mine on!!! She loves them, especially on powder. On hard packed, she would actually prefer to just walk in her snow boots! A great product.
