Quick seat and ultralight
Easy to use and lightweight. Used for trekking and hiking and it performed well. Durability is an issue given the lightweight nature, but it was not designed to be rugged. Whenever I have to take a seat on the trail, I plop this down and it provides a little comfort for my seat

Most Excellent
I bought two of these to replace the one I lost after 10 years of service. Yeah, I got a backup because my usual outdoor store doesn't carry them anymore. They're lightweight, compact, warm, and comfortable. I take mine car-camping and day-hiking mostly, or any time I know I'll be sitting on a cold, hard or wet surface.

Hello. I do like my Z seat. I can put it directly on the snow to have a snack when I have hiked to the Bowen Island lookout. It's good for throwing on a damp park bench (there is always rain in the Pacific Northwest) while stopping to gaze out at the ocean and mountains along Spanish Banks. It is so light yet well-engineered.

One question: Is one side better than the other. You quote 2 R-Values (2,1 or 1,7). Why? Is it because of a better protection of the silver side?

Light weight and keeps you dry
I use this on hunting trips when glassing to keep my pants dry. Nice lightweight option to add a bit more comfort when trying to keep weight to a minimal.
