Quick to inflate with the
Quick to inflate with the included inflation bag. Deflating and re packing was easy and it actually packed back to its original pre use size. My only complaint is it is a bit noisy.

Love it! Super easy to inflate when you get to camp and very comfortable after a long day of portaging. The material is also durable and the pad is easy to clean and pack down. Would recommend to anyone who goes camping more than once a year!

The Thermarest NeoAirr XLite NXT
The Thermarest NeoAirr XLite NXT MAX Sleeping Pad was absolutely amazing to have on a 7 day/6-night hiking and camping trip in the mountains of Idaho earlier this year. It was light to carry, easy to inflate, and gave a much-needed sound sleep every night! Being the wider model, it was beneficial to lay my arms at my side lying equal on this sleeping pad instead of them laying off the pad and on the ground. Also has enough height to keep off the ground to not feel any roots or small rocks. Highly recommend to anyone that needs a guaranteed rest after a long day of being on the trails.

Switching to a wider pad
Switching to a wider pad (5'10" - 180) has made an incredible difference in sleep quality and this newer version of XLite is much quieter than previous models. Due to the quality construction I expect this to last for several years.

Length not as Described
Gear is important to me in the backcountry. I have been backpacking since I was 12 years old and did not start-out with the best stuff. So, I find it important to review what is supposed to be the best stuff. The stated length is this pad is 77-inches. However when inflated, it is 71-inches, about 1" shorter than my height. My feet hung off the end of the pad, during my week-long trek through Yosemite. In contrast, Big Agnes pads or Nemo pads, when inflated, are the stated length. I do not understand why Thermarest does not state the length of the pad when inflated. Seems like a very important thing to list on the specifications for serious backcountry people.

No more sore spots!
I just slept 7 nights in a row on my new NeoAir. I am definitely getting a better nights sleep due to the added warmth and cushion of the sleeping pad. I am so happy with it. Not once did I wake up with sore hips or an arm that had fallen asleep. And the noise reduction compared to the old models is great, there are no crinkling noise keeping me awake every time I move. It is easy to inflate using the bag and easy to roll up and move to the next site.

Wow. So nice and soft and somehow packs lighter than my old thermostat that is still amazing ten years later. Upgraded due to sleeping pad envy and went wide to accommodate our pup! I e both love it

Love my new pad and the customer service is outstanding helped me out of a very big bind. When I was getting ready to start the PCT, they overnighted a pad to me at no cost just to make sure that I got on with my hike. Outstanding customer service can't say enough

I also took this sleeping pad on my sheep hunt and it didn't matter if I slept on my side or my back, I woke up rested and no sore hips or shoulders. Great job on this sleeping pad.

Perfect sleeping pad made in USA!
Perfect width for someone like me that moved around a bit. Would not want narrower. Thick enough to be able to deflate enough for side sleeping. And Made in USA!

Best sleeping pads ever
The absolute best backcountry sleeping pad I've ever used. I sleep better on this pad than on my mattress back home. Gone are the annoying crinkles of earlier Neo pads. Thickness a pleasure for my older bones. Worth every penny.
Works especially well for me and my spouse when paired with groundsheet and double sleeping bag (from another great Seattle outdoor company).

Big Guy slept like a baby.
this sleeping pad was awesome. I'm big guy almost 300lbs i slept great like a baby. I purchased this pad for my backpacking trip at the Grand Canyon (five days). the thickness was perfect, i did not feel the ground what so ever. The order was ship quickly and arrived very fast.
