I love it but it's so perfect and packable I would have considered the larger one. I camped on a self supported rafting trip up in BC/Alaska and DC I was on the road traveling for 21 days and it kept me happy. Super cute print. Easily washable. Not hot or cold. Loved it!

The Compressible Pillow Cinch has quickly become an essential part of my camping gear. I'm someone who values comfort, even if it means carrying a bit more weight, and this pillow delivers exactly that. Unlike air pillows, which I find too firm and not as comfortable, this pillow feels much more like the one I use at home. The softness and support it provides are unbeatable, and the cinch feature allows me to adjust the firmness to my liking.

More comfortable then I was expecting. Not the lightest for backpacking but it will definitely be my pillow of choice when weight isn't a huge factor.

I had a inflatable pillow that was very small that i used to take on my motorcycle camping trips. It was always a sacrifice when it came to sleep. small and uncomfortable of bigger and comfortable. I went with the medium one and its perfect. I tried it in my bed to make sure it was comfortable before going into a camping trip and i loved it so much i ordered the large just for car camping. The trade off for space is well worth it in my opinion. I could definitely sleep on it in my bed all year long, that how much i love it.

Great support of my head. A real spacious pillow for camping. After each wash and dry, it expands into a super bouncy pillow.

I tried a number of inflatable pillows but they never gave my head the support to allow a comfortable sleep. This one finally did the trick for me. It is perfect for sleeping on my back and ok for side sleeping. I have to try the adjustment a little bit more for that. The weight and volume is more than an inflatable pillow but for me it is so much more comfortable so I am happy to pay the weight/volume premium for a good nights sleep.

Love this pillow. So happy I got it. I didn't think it would matter but this pillow has made a big difference in my quality of sleep compared to a stuff sack full of clothes. I will always have a pillow now. The fabric is soft and the pillow is just the right loft for me. I do like the thinner pillows, being a petite person. Washing the pillow made a significant increase in the loft. This pillow easily fits in my compression sac with my sleeping bag and liner.

The cinch is such a smart design as opposed to the inflatable bad design. Doesn't pack down as well as the latter but it's not a huge issue for me. Super comfortable, couldn't recommend enough.

I've been searching for a good backpacking pillow and wanted to try this out on a 10 day backpacking trip. I watched a couple great reviews of it and like an idiot trusted the reviewers recommendation. I got a size Regular since I tend to move around at night and didn't think the Small would be big enough to keep my head on it (just due to my experience with smallish air pillows). This was my first time trying a pillow that wasn't an air pillow. Well, the pillow itself is very comfy. I really enjoyed sleeping with it. I didn't have it strapped down to my sleeping pad in any way but it still managed to mostly stay in place throughout the night, probably due to its size and the fabric covering offering more friction than your typical slippery air pillow fabrics. I think the stuffing helps cradle it to your head better than typical air pillows, helping to keep it in place. So I didn't have to chase my pillow all night.. there was only one night where I woke up without it a couple times. Ideally though I'd want a pillow that straps to the pad so there's very little opportunity for it to move around. The fabric feels soft, which is great when the side of the face is on it. The support it provides is so far the best I've experienced with backpacking trips. If you want it firmer you cinch it up more. Less firm, uncinch it and you can also sort of move the stuffing around so it's less stuffed at the spot your head will be resting. But the stuffing doesn't squish out on its own, you kinda have to make it do that, which is nice. And the stuffing is substantial enough that your head doesn't just sink through it all. The Regular size worked really well as far as sleeping comfort. It really is like a normal pillow, and having that kind of comfort on the trail is amazing. The problem is that it is big, and heavy for a trail pillow. When backpacking, size and weight really matter. I value my sleep and am willing to carry extra for it, but after 10 nights on the trail with this I know I haven't yet found "the one". Yes, the pillow cinches and rolls into itself, making it smaller, but it is still huge even when rolled up! They don't give the specs of its size when bundled up, so you just trust and assume that it'll be smaller. But it only rolls into about 50% of its length, with no way to make the width shorter, and with the height increasing as it rolls up. It's larger than my 4" insulated air pad when that is deflated and folded up. It is a huge piece of gear for what it is, if you're intending to hike with it. It does not get as small as you'd hope it does. And you can't force it to be smaller either, which you'd think you could do. Just squish it up, right? Nope. I tried a couple different compression and cinch straps to try to force squeeze it into something smaller so it would fit in my pack easier but that didnt work. It simply takes up a lot of room in a pack. If you're going on longer trips where you have to carry more stuff, a pillow taking up so much space is unfortunate. Or if you're trying to do the ultralight thing with a smaller liter pack for the weight savings, it's just not going to fit easily. If you're using a smaller pack, plan on putting this pillow in a dry bag and attaching it to the outside of your pack. You can get the size Small, but then I'd definitely want pad straps for it. The weight is also more than I'd like to carry over mountains. Yes, the site lists the weight, so no surprise there, but you can't have both weight and size on the trail. I already carry more weight with the thicker air mattress and a heavier lay flat hammock so I can get better sleep.. all the extra ounces add up and you really feel it throughout the miles. There are too many competitors out there to resign yourself to the size and weight of this pillow. The most annoying thing was that I didn't know how to roll up the pillow to make it smaller and compress on its own until I got signal at the top of a mountain several nights into the trip and was able to look up how to roll it on YouTube. (It arrived right before the trip so I didn't have time to play with or research anything beforehand). Once you know how it seems obvious but I was trying all sorts of different things trying to get it somewhat compressed. I kept trying to fold it in different ways, and using the integrated cinch strings as tight as possible, while trying to utilize the loop & toggle that was clearly meant to assist it staying compressed. I'm surprised I didn't break the cinches in my attempts. I didn't even consider that it rolled up into itself by stuffing one end into the overlapped fabric. Even my hubby didn't figure that out, so it's not just me. The instructions/tags it came with and this site only shows the pillow being cinched, they don't show how to roll it into itself. I shouldn't have to watch YouTube reviews to know what to do? Not that it helped though - the manually tightened compression buckles I added did a better job "compressing" it. But still, it would've been nice to know how to compress it on its own. The other thing I was disappointed with was how easily it held stains and sweat stains. I do sponge baths every night before crawling into my shelter so I'm not sleeping in stink, and I use a sleeping bag liner to further keep stink off of my bag and pad (and pillow), but this thing somehow found a way to roll around in oil and hold stains. Which were quite visible.. And I have the darker grey/green one that was kept in a dry bag along with my sleeping bag and liner, so it wasn't getting contaminated from my other gear. And because the cover is integrated in the pillow, you can't remove the cover to clean it in a river. If you tried cleaning this pillow on the trail it'd just stay wet (at least the trail I was on anyway.. drying things is difficult on it). The pillow is too dense for it to dry with any ease. So I was stuck with stains until I got home and could wash the whole pillow. For backpacking trips you want either a pillow you can wash (like regular air pillows) or a cover that can be removed and washed. Since this thing is already heavy for a trail pillow, it's highly unlikely I'd ever get a separate washable pillow cover for it, as that'd be even more weight and space. If you're just doing car camping or only hiking a couple miles for a 1-night trip, where size and weight aren't as important, or if you do luxurious stay-in-place camping, or otherwise want a travel pillow smaller than your pillow at home, then this pillow is awesome. But I do not recommend it for your average multi-night backpacking trips. Comfy, yes, practical, no. I will continue the search for the ideal pillow (one that marries weight, space, cost, durability, and comfort). This one is getting added to the pile of gear that rarely ever gets used. Just another $41 gone..

This glamping pillow is worth the extra ounces. It is on the bigger side of the scale. If sleeping confortable is important to you this pillow will not disappoint.

I have the Small, which I always take with me on the plane. It makes the perfect lumbar support or (if I'm sitting at a window seat), I lean on it as a pillow against the wall/window. The compressible size makes it easy to travel with. I was able to find silk pillowcases that fit the Small, making it easier to keep clean.

Perfect for my needs. Great support, feels like a real pillow, use it daily around the house. Easily cleaned and rebounds to full fluff. Great for road trips and backpacking. Stows away nicely. Looking forward to using it for many years to come.

I highly recommend it as it gave me the best night's sleep I've ever had in a tent! It doesn't feel like a camping pillow but more like a normal one. At first, I was hesitant to purchase it because of the weight. But the comfort is worth every ounce of weight!! Size S was enough for me.

Pillow packs into its own case, but isn't very small. Takes a fair bit of room in a pack. When using it it might be ok for a small person, but I found it too small fir me and had to constantly adjust it for loft.

Being a stomach sleeper, I've always brought my own (flat) pillow when I travel. Most hotel pillows are too lofty and would hurt my neck if I slept with them. I saw this pillow recently and thought I would give it a try. Not quite as flat as my pillow, but it does the trick, and when compressed takes up much less space in the suitcase. If you run hot, this pillow might be too warm, but it will replace my bulkier pillow from now on when I travel.

Larger packed size and weight than an air pillow, but well worth it. I'm a light sleeper and have a hard time sleeping through the night in the backcountry. I've tried multiple air pillows and I detest the "balloon"-like feeling of them, but igot a few great nights of sleep with this pillow. Love it.
