Good Filter

Use inline with my hydration bladder system while hiking and backpacking. The flow rate is decent - there is some noticeable resistance, especially when the filter has not been primed. I have put some very nasty water (water I would NOT trust a Steripen with) through this filter without any ill effects. The filter clogs pretty easily when your water has quite a bit of particulate matter in it, but backflushing isn't too hard. All in all, I am very happy with this product and using it inline with my bladder greatly simplifies water purification on the trail.

This small, lightweight system can filter up to 100,000 gallons of water, and is reliable and easy to use. You have options with the Mini Water Filtration System: you can attach it to the included collapsible drinking pouch, you can add it in line on a hydration pack, it screws on a standard soda bottle, or simply use the included drinking straw to drink directly from your water source. Easy backwashing restores up to 98.5 percent of the filter's flow rate, too.
