Loved but they didn't last a year

I loved these boots initially. I bought them in the fall of October 2023 and I live in Michigan. This year when I took them out of winter storage I noticed that the toe is separating and water now can seep in. I'm disappointed because they are barely out of warranty and I only wore them for roughly 6 months out of the year. Not sure if I received a lemon but it's making me think twice about purchasing Sorel boots

Comfy but Cheap Material :c

I absolutely love the style and comfort of these boots! However, they only last me about one year. I wore them religiously last winter to get my money's worth, but the rubber seal detached from the shoe around my toes when I pulled them out this fall. These already were my second pair, so I'm not sure if I should invest in a third pair knowing how long they last.
